In the evening when Zhi ruo and Zhi Xin arrived back home, Zhi ruo was called in to the study by father Zhi.
When Zhi ruo got fresh and went to the study, she saw a father Zhi holding a box with utmost care. Clearing her throat to inform father Zhi that she is here she went and sat down on the couch waiting for father Zhi to speak.
"Ruoruo, today Qing Shan came to meet us and also informed about getting certificate first due to his grandma's health." Told Father Zhi.
"I know dad, we already spoke on that matter last night."answered Zhi ruo.
Looking at Zhi ruo father Zhi asked :
"Its good that you have already started discussing with Qing shan and you both are taking decisions for your own life, but.....
Ruoruo do you think, its too rushed?...
I mean, should you spend some time and understand him better first...."
Zhi ruo knew what her father was worried about... Even though her father had his set of problems to deal with but he also made sure that those things will never affect her, be it bussiness be it relocation or anything. He has always been very meticulous in matters regarding Zhi ruo.
She knew that if she dosen't clear and explain her father this matter clearly, this would be a thorn in his heart forever, so she interrupted her father before he could complete his sentence.....
"I understand what you want to say father, but
There are still people who can hide ther true colours.....
About time, didn't I spend time with Su ye.....
Dad, time will not change much in a relationship, it is respect and understanding that will...
and I have a living example of that in front of me..."
Hugging her father Zhi ruo added
"Dad, Qing Shan understands me and I am sure it will work out well....So do not worry...
okay?"
Looking at his baby girl who grew up and was consoling him Father Zhi felt proud and nodded.
Patting her head Father Zhi handed her a box, it was excutively carved box. Red colour at the base and a black coloured carvings. The carving's were pretty but also unusual. If looked from an angle sometimes they would look like an animal but won't make sense....
If you can see the body of the elephent you can't figure out the trunk, If you can see the face of crocodile....it's tail was missing....
Observing the box when Zhi ruo was unable to figure out its carvings she decided to check what's inside and tried to guess by shaking it.
Even after shaking it many times she was unable to figure out what coulkd be inside and she tried to open the box... But it was locked....It was tough to figure out the hinges and the lock but it sure was locked...
Looking at Zhi ruo trying to open the box like a child opening its gift, Father Zhi laughed out loud and told her that this box was what her mother wanted to give her....
When Zhi ruo was born her mother gave the box to father Zhi for safe keeping so that t could be given to Zhi ruo when her marriage would be decided. Till today many a times father Zhi has tried to open it but it was of no use. The only way to open it was bnreaking it but he was unable to do that afterall it was what his wife wanted their daughter to have.
Hearing that it was a gift that her mother prepared for her Zhi ruo understood taht it was another part of the puzzle and there was no way that it can be opened. Smiling at her father she thanked him and went back to her room.
