Because the mission was not a pre-planned mission and also because none of them, including Smoke, had no idea bout the mission, no one had enough time to think or research about the place where they were going to carry out their mission. Even the map that Smoke obtained was a curated satellite image which was only able to show the number of mountains and the basic outline of the plot. Usually whenever they would set out on a mission they will make sure to meet or atleast talk on a call about it so everyone could know what to expect. Not that they were scared or nervous, it was just like jumping on air without knowing what is hidden beneath it.
Though Zhi Ruo was not sure on her analysis but her mind had a strong hunch. There were various reasons for that, probably too many. The first and the foremost being that their team was kept in dark about this mission which has never happened till now. On top of that she was pretty much sure that when Zhi Xin had the ability to protect himself from getting hurt he also had the ability to complete the mission on his own, why he did not do that is something only he can answer.
"What do you mean?" asked Sugar while everyone including him started observing the map and trying to find out the reason for abnormality. Though the place which Smoke pointed on the map looked a little crowded, it was almost impossible to figure out that the mountain was a nuisance solely based on the map.
"My deduction is based on the fact that a Special Force Officer or the whole special force team was sent on a uninformed mission. Apart from that, no one was informed even after the special forces lost contact after reaching the place. This means there is something more to what it seems or what they wanted to hide." explained Smoke while trying to think much rationally about the situation.
"So do you mean to say that they sent special forces on a uninformed mission and did not do anything even after losing contact with them after sending them.
Why would they do that?" asked Chile while observing the map from different angles.
"We need to find out" said Smoke nonchalantly while closing her eyes to reorganize her thoughts and figure out the way Zhi Xin might have thought or the problem's he might have faced for him to stay put at a place.
"Look at this...." Shouted Fire while doing something in his tablet and showing it to everyone.
Looking at the tablet Smoke was shocked, snatching the tablet from his hands she started typing some more codes....
"What happened?" asked Sugar who was unsure about what they found out.
Fire started explaining with a surprised expression, " After Smoke pointed out about the mountain I was thinking that there might be a hidden map somewhere on the sites. I was looking for the satellite images of the place where we are going. But as I went into the site to grab a picture, I noticed that the place has very high radiations, while there was no habitation over the place. Though some articles do say that occasionally they have seen things flying over the place but when normal people tried out the place they found it wasn't suitable for habitation.
There's another problem, the mountain is surrounded by sea on one of its side.
Whenever there is such place where there is a sea on one side of the mountain there are high chances of irregular waves been formed in the water due to the flow of water being obstructed by mountain, but surprisingly in this sea there are pretty regular waves.
Infact it is so regular that it is a point to suspect that it might be tailored in a way to control it."
