Zhi Ruo spent some time in the balcony. After she was done venting out all of her emotions she simply drank the tea while trying to regain her rationality and calmness. Some time passed by and Zhi Ruo was alot much better than earlier. Getting up from the chair, Zhi Ruo kept the cup in the kitchen before going towards the bedroom.

Zhi Ruo had expected that Qing Shan would have already slept. Entering the room Zhi Ruo saw it brightly lit, complete contrary to a way a sleeping environment should be. Looking around she realized Qing Shan had not slept, instead he was sitting on the bed reading some documents.

"I thought you slept." Saying Zhi Ruo went to change into her night dress.

Raising his head Qing Shan glanced at Zhi Ruo, who was looking down to hide her tearful face. Not bothering with her childish ways Qing Shan quietly increased the temperature and finished his work before he kept them aside.

Zhi Ruo came out quickly wearing pink bear patterned night dress.

"I had some pending work."Qing Shan answered. It was partly true he had completed most of his work while waiting for his wife to return. But can he tell it to her that he was worried about her falling asleep on the chair in the balcony, hence he stayed awake to get her back in...Just in case....No.

Blowing her hairs, Zhi Ruo answered flatly, "You could have done it in the study. It is uncomfortable to work on bed."

"I was warming the bed for my wife as well" saying Qing Shan nonchalantly and patted the position besides himself while opening his arms wide for his wife to hop in.

Controlling her lips from rising, Zhi Ruo blushed before shyly hopping in her husbands arm. Quickly wrapping herself in the duvet, Zhi Ruo hid herself in Qing Shan's arm while speaking in a muffled voice,"Thankyou."

Wrapping his arms around Zhi Ruo,Qing Shan turned off the lights and started patting her head softly in a rhythmic manner. Pecking on her forehead softly, Qing Shan added, "Sleep, my wife. Have a beautiful dream."

Under Qing Shan's warm embrace it did not take a long time for Zhi Ruo to fall asleep.

Even though Zhi Ruo slept with a lot of unsolved questions in her mind, she had the most beautiful and relaxing sleep last night. Getting up softly she opened her eyes and started to look around for Qing Shan. Unknowingly, it had become an habit for Zhi Ruo to get up every morning and watch Qing Shan either sitting besides her lazying around or reading news paper or if she is late then he will be getting ready. Be it anything she would surely see him after getting up everyday.

Zhi Ruo was about to grab her cell phone and check if she was late or early today, when the bathroom door opened and a person wearing black bathrobe appeared in her sight. Zhi Ruo quickly stopped moving, dropping her cell phone she closed her eyes in a way that she was still able to see mildly.

As soon as Qing Shan stepped out of the shower, he noticed the changed position if Zhi Ruo's cell phone, immediately informing him about the fact that Zhi Ruo was awake. Looking at her Qing Shan waited for her to get up. Unable to get any response he decided to be a little mischievous.
