Zhi Ruo did not hesitate. She had already accepted the role of Qing Shan's wife then the rest ones would eventually follow. Hugging Grandma Qing Zhi Ruo thanked her for her support and trust.

"I will go and help mother with dinner." Saying Zhi Ruo left to look for Mother Qing.

"Qing Shan." Qing Shan was about to follow Zhi Ruo when he heard his grandmother calling him out.

"Yes, grandma?"

"I heard what happened at the construction site."

"What?" Qing Shan was unable to believe what he heard.

"I said stop the investigation." Grandma Qing spoke again.

"Why? Just you said you will never let her be wronged... Then why now?" Qing Shan was completely caught off guard by Grandma Qing's words.

"The investigation will do no good. It will eventually lead to a dead end. You will never be able to find out who it was."

"It is impossible, I will find out." Qing Shan was unable to believe that with his ability he will not be able to find who the perpetrator was. He had determined to pursue this matter and catch the person who played such a game in the dark.

"Mistakes are fine, but the ones which might deprive someone of their life is unacceptable. If you want, I will allow you to continue the investigation. But you will have to promise you will stop it when you reach a dead end. Trying to pry in further might be not good."

Qing Shan's determination made grandma Qing realize her own mistakes. Thus she allowed Qing Shan to do as he pleased. It was tough to learn without making mistakes, but being his elder, it was on to her to protect him.

Qing Shan nodded. He was not an unreasonable person and knew his grandma was always right, but this time he wanted to give Zhu Ruo an answer. He wanted the culprit to bear what she bore. He wanted the culprit to feel the despair of being threatened with the life of his loved ones.

After the dinner, Zhi Ruo proposed to help Grandma Qing taking a walk in the garden.

"Grandma, How did you know me?" Zhi Ruo asked after coming away from the house. There were a lot of questions that she had in her mind. But she was also aware that those questions were sensitive and cannot be asked in the presence of anyone else.

Smiling towards the teenage girl who was an exact carbon copy of her mom, Grandma Qing answered, "When you were born, I choose the name for you."

Zhi Ruo was shocked, she had expected there to be many things, family relations, friends and so many, but she never thought that Grandma Qing would have seen her when she was born. That means she knew her mother as well.

Before Zhi Ruo could ask, Grandma Qing answered, "Yes, I knew your mother as well."
