The snow-white little beast also yelled out, as if it was saying that it knew where the battle was taking place.

“Sure,” The Heaven-Devouring Sparrow replied in a serious tone. Xiao Yun followed the shockwaves, and soon, he was stunned by the scene in front of him.

There were gorges and Fire Veins everywhere, as if they had come to a place where the Fire Veins all gathered.

At the centre, there was a 300-metre-tall altar there, with iron chains descending from above which connected to all the Fire Veins. Runes flashed on the iron chains, gathering the Essence Qi within those Fire Veins and gathering it at the centre of the altar.

At the centre was a cauldron, which was gathering boundless Fire Essence Qi.

“Is this that ancient sect’s forbidden area?” The Heaven-Devouring Sparrow muttered as it stared ahead.

“What powerful might!” Xiao Yun felt quite shocked. If he could use all of that Fire Essence Qi for himself, the results would be incredible!

It was as expected of an ancient sect.

However, beneath the altar, there were a few people engaged in a massive battle.

“It’s Qiu Xuan Feng.” Xiao Yun’s eyes gleamed when he saw one of the people was Qiu Xuan Feng, who had tried to force him to his death. When he thought about how he had been forced by these people to scout the way for them, Xiao Yun gritted his teeth.

If it wasn’t for Xiao Yun’s powerful spirit energy which allowed him to see those Restrictions on the bridge, he would have already died.

“This fellow’s not weak at all!” The Heaven-Devouring Sparrow muttered.

Xiao Yun slightly sighed as he stood still, not preparing to interfere at all. Essence Core realm cultivators were simply too powerful, and the current him was not able to do anything to them at all. Despite having all sorts of trump cards, he would still be like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered. As such, even if he hated this person, he could only silently endure.

After Qiu Xuan Feng was defeated, he hurriedly retreated, and actually tried to escape.

Xiao Yun could only wait worriedly – the demonic spirit’s might was evident, and if he didn’t escape, he would definitely be in danger!
