“What a fast sword strike!” Xiao Yun’s pupils contracted as he stared at the sword light. “This sword contains immeasurable might, and gives off a shocking aura as if it can pierce through mountains. Perhaps when a sword reaches extreme speed, it really can break through ten thousand techniques. It most likely has to do with one’s cultivation.”

Before, Xiao Yun didn’t actually believe that a sword strike could break through ten thousand techniques, but today, his eyes were opened.

After seeing this shocking sword strike, he realised that he was a frog in a well.

“As expected, the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow is not at all ordinary,” the young woman breezily spoke as she raised her hand and a mirror appeared in front of her. Runes began to appear on the mirror, and it blocked the flames that seemed to be able to incinerate everything.

The young woman’s voice was soft and gentle, sounding incredibly heavenly; the people below couldn’t help but feel intoxicated.

“That’s right,” the young woman said as she walked gracefully; every step she took left behind traces of light, making her seem like a real goddess.

The Heaven-Devouring Sparrow gave a loud cry before coldly harrumphing, “I never thought I would still be discovered by the Heavenly Capital Domain’s people. A girl like you wants to kill this lord? You think my Heaven-Devouring Sparrow bloodline is so easy to contend against?”

A red light flashed as the gigantic bird charged towards the woman in white.

The woman in white took out a spiritual armament and held it in front of her as she wielded the azure blade and clashed with the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow.

BOOM!!

A gigantic explosion rang out, sounding as if it could shake the earth. Monstrous energy waves rippled out from the battle, causing the nearby hills to shatter and the earth to tremble. The energy waves caused the cultivators far away to shiver, feeling extremely terrified.

The fear brought by the battle between 2 supreme experts was something they would never forget.

Flames billowed around where the 2 experts were fighting, dyeing the heavens and earth red. The scene was so piercing that one’s eyes ached while watching.

Xiao Yun looked forwards but found that because of all the light, he couldn’t see a single thing.

An hour later, the sounds of battle died down, and the waves of energy rippling out were no longer as powerful.

“Are they nearly finished?” Xiao Yun squinted, trying to see something.

A gigantic sound rang out as the air seemed to explode. A red flash streaked out like a meteor, and Xiao Yun found that it was the bird, thought it was no longer as big.

“Bloody wench, you actually detonated your forbidden armament to destroy this lord’s fleshly body. This lord will definitely take his revenge,” the bird roared savagely. The crimson red light disappeared and the hatred in its voice caused all those who heard it to shudder.
