It was a dark, unending abyss, the end of which could not be seen. It was like a purgatory, and black runes spun and moved around, binding the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow’s demonic soul. One could faintly see those runes were like a devouring vortex that was refining the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow.

“The Heaven-Devouring Divine Art can really devour an incredibly powerful expert’s spirit?” Xiao Yun was quite shocked. Although the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow’s fleshly body was gone, from the aura it gave off, Xiao Yun could still tell that it was quite powerful.

However, there were waves roaring around within his heart. From the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow’s tone, the Heaven-Devouring Tower was not ordinary at all; Xiao Yun wondered how his father had obtained this tower.

Although he felt quite curious, Xiao Yun didn’t say anything unnecessary - why reveal more than he had to?
