This was a small, furry beast, which looked incredibly cute. It was only 30 centimetres tall, and was covered with white fur. Its eyes shone like a pair of gemstones, and its long eyelashes seemed to glitter as they blinked, looking like a porcelain doll.

“Yiya!” When it saw that the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow was devouring the coral, the little beast stretched out a small, furry paw and slashed it through the air. Ripples shot out as a white light flew towards the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow.

This white light was like a sharp blade. It cleaved through the air, and was surrounded by mysterious ripples, which caused the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow’s vortex to tremble before a massive hole was torn through it.

“What mysterious ripples; they actually contain comprehension of a great Dao.” The Heaven-Devouring Sparrow narrowed its eyes as a serious expression appeared on its face. When it saw its vortex collapse after taking a single hit, it hurriedly retreated, not daring to take the attack head-on.

After the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow dodged, monstrous shockwaves were sent out throughout the bottom of the fire lake, striking fear into even Xiao Yun. He looked at the small furry creature, unable to comprehend how this little fellow could be so powerful.

Within the coral, the snow-white little beast waved its little furry paws, yelling at Xiao Yun and the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow. From its actions, it seemed to be telling the 2 of them that with it there, they better give up on touching the coral. As it did this, the little fellow picked up a Fire Crystal Coral and placed it into its mouth and munched on it.

“Looks like we’ll have to deal with this little fellow if we want any of these things!” Xiao Yun frowned, feeling that he had run into a thorny problem. Even though this snow-white little beast looked quite small, incredibly innocent and harmless, Xiao Yun felt a headache coming on when he thought about how casually it had destroyed the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow’s vortex.

If they fought, he definitely wouldn’t be a match for this little beast! However, just as Xiao Yun was thinking to himself, his Martial Spirit within his sea of consciousness started to become restless.

A jade-green light flashed as a branch extended out from between his eyebrows, stabbing towards the Fire Crystal Coral.
