Director Duan of Zhang Corporation called for a dozen hired men all in corporate black attire to rescue his son from the clutches of the ferocious reporters that stood outside his apartment door, armed with assorted cameras and mics, which was aimed to meet anyone that stepped out of the door. They kept pounding on the door and calling for Huang Zilin and Duan Feng to come out and answer their questions. Neighbors indoor peeked from the curtains by the window, as they saw the way the press continued to harass one of their own.

Those that walked by, stopped to see what was happening. Their phones directed to the almost out of control group of reporters. The video of the incident was being uploaded on Beibo, as comments poured in from various parts of the country. The cry of what were the police doing was the most glaring on the comment section. Calls began streaming in to the police station, DongFu District police station's webpage was bombarded with messages from angry taxpayers for the police to curtail the action of the press.

While all this was going on, the men that was sent by Director Duan had arrived at the doorstep of Duan Feng, the highly trained professionals pushed through the press, as one of them most likely the leader texted Duan Feng's father that they were outside his door, who then called his son that the bodyguards were waiting to transport him to the Duan Mansion.

With only an haphazardly thrown blue shirt and dark cotton pants with an indoor dark slip on covering both feet and a tussled hair from running his hands through. Duan Feng's fingers loosely held onto Huang Zilin's, whose face had become deadly pale despite efforts taken to remain pristine in her bearing and outlook, not even the makeup could amplify the alluring look that she usually strove for in the presence of her boyfriend. She had on a mini gown of glittery white, both wrist had three layers of fine gold, which went well with the tassel earring of gold on both earlobes, gone were the heels she came in with, in place was a similar flannel slip on of soft white on her feet. Shimmering pearl necklace graced the front of her gown. She kept bitting at her fingernails, as the red polish peeled away to reveal the pink nails underneath, this was an habit Huang Zilin used to portray the nervousness she was feeling from within.
When she heard bits and pieces of the phone conversation of Duan Feng.

Huang Zilin surmised that help had come, while looking at the slightly relaxed face of her boyfriend that was once very tense. As soon as he took the phone from his ear, Huang Zilin asked, "Did your Dad send someone already?"

Not that she wasn't there when he placed the call nor wasn't listening to what was said, instead she was only asking to put her fears at ease.

It was then that Duan Feng turned to look at his girlfriend and noticed something that eventually made him snap in anger.

"When would you stop doing that? Haven't you gone pass the age of biting your fingers?! See! You have them on your lips! Please! Stop embarrassing me! At least, there is one thing I didn't have to argue with Mi, is that she knew how to behave, unlike you!"

That was when Huang Zilin lost it, although she had tried her hardest not to show her boyfriend the disgusting part of her, but to be compared for the first time with the heiress of Zhang Corporation was very demeaning to her. True, the heiress during the time she knew them, was the type that did everything that Duan Feng asked and very few knew they were actually going out.

Nothing was ever out of place, hair, dressing, style and mannerism. It came as a shock when she saw the other woman give in to an outburst in court. People of Zhang Mi's caliber never stooped to the level of Huang Zilin, but for Duan Feng she did just that. As a woman, Huang Zilin knew that the Zhang heiress's pride was hurt by Duan Feng's cheating, which she tried her best to cover in court and with the media. Focusing on suppressing the scandal to the minimum, while using the charges brought against her as the main focus for the press to attack her.

"Duan Feng! You know you're such an a$$hole!"

On hearing the insult from his girlfriend, Duan Feng raised his hand as though about to slap her.

"Do it! See if you will work out of here alive! I'm not like Miss Zhang who you can push around, if you hit me, I will make sure the press destroys both you and your family!"

The threat alone stopped him from slapping Huang Zilin. With a smile pasted on their faces, hand in hand they both walked out to meet the madness waiting outside.

At the metal door of pale grey, the man that stood a few feet from where the medical staff attended to both Lu Yi and Zhang Mi, decided to introduce himself in a toneless voice, seconds after entering the room.

"Good Afternoon, my name is Yang Lin. I'm the guardian of Miss Zhang Mi and Mr Lu Yi."

It was only after he spoke did the women visibly relax. The doctor asked to see his ID to which he complied and was handed back to him thereafter. Doctor Sun Yue gave an indepth explanation to Yang Lin regarding Lu Yi's spinal injuries with cuts, lacerations and internal bleeding, as well as Zhang Mi 's cuts and internal bleeding with hip injury and a chunk of skin that was taken off, which she explained it required grafting. Dr Sun told him that their condition required surgery, but the success rate was fairly high enough, if complications did not take place in the course of the surgery.

Yang Lin listened as the pretty doctor spoke, only cutting in to ask, "When will the surgery most likely take place?"

Dr Sun Yue replied, "As soon as the nurses hand you the paperwork for them, it will commence afterwards. As we speak, we have staffs that are getting the operating room ready."

The doctor asked if he had any questions for her, to which Yang Lin told her he had none to ask at the moment. Right there, one of the nurses offered to walk Yang Lin to the nurses station to begin filling the paperwork required for the surgery. Yang Lin stepped out with the nurse walking ahead, to get it done, leaving behind the rest of them.
