On cutting her open, they found that she had sustained a blunt trauma to her internal organ, which prior x-ray had confirmed to be the case. Priority was to stop the bleeding caused by a combination of forceful friction and pull due to the speed at which the the other car smashed into the cab, the resulting effect was what caused the bleeding, twisting of the bones in her hip and skin tear.
During assessment Dr Sun saw the large deep purple discoloration on the heiress skin, knowing it for what it was, she still wanted an x-ray to rule out any underlying symptoms or conditions. While Yang Lin filled the surgery form with questions regarding the health of both Zhang Mi and Lu Yi. Although, only one of them was he able to tell to the best of his knowledge, the other he had no idea about since he just met him and was someone that just came back to the country after many years in another country.
It was only after the bleeding was controlled, could the doctor use the collected sample of skin from her left forearm to sew the collected skin onto her thigh that had it's skin forcefully ripped out by the car crash. At the moment the doctor was using the heat from the surgical probe to seal off the blood vessels that had been torn open.
When he saw the gun pointed in his direction, the frightened man almost dropped the equipment in his gloved hand, which shook with fear. One of the nurses passed out from severe fright, leaving the doctor with no one to hand him any of the surgical instruments if needed. The first assist stood rooted on the spot, while the circulating nurse began to hyperventilate from the horrifying situation she was suddenly thrown into.
When Yang Lin walked into the operating room, he had an earpiece plugged to his phone which was in the pocket of his pant, taking out a small device that had a screen, he listened as the other man talked him through in creating a secure network to monitor what was going on in the room. The square small portable device came with a wall suction clip which allowed it to balance well on the wall by the door, this way Guo Ru would have a wide view of what was taking place and react on time. Not too long after the other nurse passed out, leaving just the doctor, first assist and anesthesiologist, who looked extremely scared out of their mind from the unimaginable terrifying position they were all driven into.
Guo Ru instructed Yang Lin to tell the anesthesiologist and first assist to accompany him out of the operating room, as he spoke the rest of them that hadn't given in to their fright saw the masked figure that was calling the shots. They heard when he gave the command for them to follow Yang Lin out of the room.
"You heard him! Let's get going, we don't have all day!"
After saying this, Yang Lin thoroughly searching them and when he was sure that they had nothing on them that will alert the rest of the hospital, did he stop his search. As though in a trance, they walked out of the room with Yang Lin sticking close to them, who had a gun aimed straight at their head, should any of them try to make a run for it and scream for help.
Yang Lin did as Guo Ru said and led the two into a small storage room to the left of OR 2A, which was where supplies needed for surgery was mostly kept. On getting in, he ask that they sit on the bare floor, watching as they obediently did as asked, before taking out a canister and throwing it down, as it rolled towards them. Not wasting any time, Yang Lin ran out of the room and secured the door behind him. He could hear the struggle within to reach for the door, but it wasn't long before the overpowering gaseous chemical knocked them unconscious.
Inside the operating room where the Zhang heiress remained sedated, Guo Ru was already in the hospital's system and was able to see the information of everyone, therefore he knew who was performing the surgery on the Zhang heiress.
"Dr Wang Dewei, that young lady you see over there is someone that has a very important role to play in the coming future, her being here is enough risk to the hospital and even to you! If you care enough for your career, I see you are aiming to become the departmental head of GI unit, if you do then I need you to go along with my plan. That is the only way to come out of this alive. In case it skipped your notice, she didn't come here alone, someone died and another is in surgery too. Unless you live under a rock, that lady under your watch, is the sole heiress to Zhang Corporation and her Uncle, President Zhang Tianyu is not someone you want to mess with!"
Shock and disbelief registered on the face of the man, only a few people in the hospital knew of his ambition to become the youngest department head of GI unit. The HR department's head and the Chief Medical Director were the ones that were privy to his ambition. The only way the other man would have known is by accessing his records from HuaQu's HR system.
"How the hell did you know about it! Who are you?! Why are you doing this?! Have we ever met before?!"
Not thinking clearly, the visibly infuriated doctor kept questioning the other man.
"Listen to me and listen carefully! That woman over there must not die! You have ten minutes and the countdown has begun! Do whatever it takes, if you value your life!"
Dr Wang's hand kept shaking, as he struggled to steady them, while resuming what he had been distracted from doing. Although the operating room was usually cold, that didn't stop the beads of sweat forming under his arms and forehead. As though possessed, he kept working his way rapidly to completely seal of the blood vessels in his patient, before progressing to the next thing on his list.
