While they both are and discussed, Yang Lin paused momentarily to pull out his cellphone to dial Tao Jun, the phone was unanswered on the other end on the second ring. Surprisingly voice that spoke to Yang Lin didn't show any sign of vexation, since he refused to pick her calls after so many days.

Of course Yang Lin's mind didn't go back to that time, Tao Jun's soft feminine voice asked what Yang Lin was calling for, choosing not to bring up the reason for her previous calls that he callously chose not to answer.

Yang Lin went on to tell her that a male family friend of Zhang Mi wanted to be let in on, tackling her imprisonment. This wasn't lost on the lawyer, as a person who once took psychology for some years while in law school, Tao Jun could detect the undertone of jealous that oozed from the words that Yang Lin spoke.

Although she didn't point it out to him, that piece of information was carefully tucked away somewhere in her mind. The lawyer made a suggestion for all three to gather at the firm, where they could rub minds together and look for anything in the Zhang heiress past that would appeal to the hearts of the public, because at the end of the day, even though the Judge was the one that would pass judgement, if the public determined that it was unjust then the Judge and the Judical body would have no choice, but to review the case again and decide on a mutually beneficial verdict, one that the public would not cry foul and at the same time maintain the balance of justice.

Tao Jun asked for Lu Yi to be put on the line, not telling the other man who was on the phone, Yang Lin passed it to Lu Yi as he watched him with an expression that bordered on dislike.

When Lu Yi picked up, the conversation became more animated, as the two conversed for a while, his infectious laughter kept drawing the gazes of others in the restaurant. Especially young women, had on an enraptured look on their faces. As some would giggle and whisper amongst themselves behind the palms of their hands, while giving out shy looks from time to time.

On the other hand Lu Yi was unaware of what was going on, while Yang Lin had an irate look on his face, the urge to leave resonated strongly within him, but since Lu Yi had his phone, he could only stay put till when the other man was done conversing with his lawyer.

When the conversation finally came to an end, which was mostly about Tao Jun getting his details and relationship with the Zhang heiress including his family's involvement with the Zhang's in the past. Tao Jun spoke of appealing the case by sending it to the Supreme court at a later date once the affected parties was made aware of the decision, the heat from the phone almost made Yang Lin drop it when Lu Yi gave the phone back. A strange look came over Yang Lin as he couldn't understand how the other man could talk that long, while the phone was overheating against his ear.

Not questioning the look on the other man's eyes, as Lu Yi wanted to avoid a fight with him at all cost. They soon parted ways with Lu Yi offering to call back in order to follow up with the case, Yang Lin didn't offer to give him a lift, as he got into the car heading for Zhang villa. While, Lu Yi hailed a cab back to his lodging at the airport hotel.

Unknown to Yang Lin, there was a car tailing him from behind. Following the car belonging to the Zhang heiress, the mysterious man kept his pursuit until Yang Lin was approaching the gate to the Zhang villa, that was when the other car expertly blocked his way, effectively cutting off his entry.

Surprised by the move, Yang Lin got out to see who could pull such an act on him. Not knowing that the other man was very much prepared, holding in one hand a taser device, when he got close to where the man was, he saw he had a dark shade on, in a bid to get a closer look though the rolled down window, that was when the other man whipped out the taser towards Yang Lin's exposed neck, as the electric current shocked him unconscious. The calculative way at which the man brought out the device aiming for a vulnerable part of Yang Lin could only be done by a professional, there was little room within the car and also if Yang Lin had noticed his movement on time, that would have destroyed his plans, an amateur would have failed to tase the target, which was why the person that hired him, paid good money to get the job done quickly and precisely.

The man caught Yang Lin with one hand from falling to the ground, before tossing to the side the taser gun.

Maneuvering both Yang Lin and the car door, the other man was able to get out of the car and move Yang Lin to the back seat of the car, he then took out a burner phone to place a call with a fake voice to a towing company about a car blocking his property.

Returning to the car, as he drove to make the delivery he was being paid for, not sparing the unconscious form at the back seat. The young man spread across the seat had no idea what was in store for him.

There is always a price to pay for betrayal, once "the owner" demands payment "the debtor" has no other choice, but to repay everything to the very last, even if blood has to be shed, family must never side with the enemy, regardless of who that person might be.
