After exchanging pleasantries, they both gazed at each other, as though trying to figure out the other person. It lasted momentarily, before Yang Lin with an impassive look on, began talking to Lu Yi.

"You said you want to help Miss Zhang, why now? As far as I know you haven't kept touch over the years!"

Lu Yi was expecting that kind of response from Yang Lin, instead of replying immediately, he motioned with his hand for the server to come to their table, before placing his order.

"What would you like to order? Just a Cappucino for me and a Velvet loaf cake."

The server was a teen in all black with a red apron that had the company name imprinted on the top left corner of her apron, her dark hair was pulled back. Yang Lin was struck speechless at first, by the casual approach Lu Yi was taking with the discussion. At first he wanted to take offense, but remembered that the other man lived abroad, this easier for him to dismiss Lu Yi's attitude.

When Yang Lin saw the server was awaiting his order, he asked for an espresso and Iced lemon loaf cake.

The talked while eating, as each listened keenly to what the other was saying, Yang Lin asked if Lu Yi already had a lawyer in mind that will be helping with the case, to which Lu Yi said he was still looking around and hadn't made any commitment with anyone. That was when Yang Lin suggested Tao Jun, the reason why Lu Yi sought out Yan Lin was purely based on gut feeling, that the other man despite what was said about him in public, he would fiercely protect the heiress to the Zhang Corporation.
