The lawyer continued to speak with the client, probing her as to the relationship she had with her Uncle. Although, that was one of the things that had been covered during her investigations of the case, Tao Jun still wanted to hear what the Zhang heiress had to say.

"What else haven't I told the other lawyers?! I and my uncle had a very cordial relationship, he respected my space and I his. We both worked at Zhang Corporation, with me heading the company, while he was one of the directors. On no occassions had he shown me any dislike or hatred whatsoever, the expenses of my parents burial was fully covered by him, taking over the company after their death was purely with his help and mentorship. Those that strongly opposed me, he won them over and he even gave Yang Lin to me, this was so that I will always have someone capable as I held the position of President of Zhang Corporation."

The Zhang heiress wasn't aware that she had given the lawyer so much insight into how cruel Zhang Tianyu was, the person that one should be most careful of was the type that would cry the most at a funeral, show they had your back in your face and without the slightest warning whatsoever, they would yank out the rug underneath the other person's feet. He was a dangerous man, that much Tao Jun knew, but to be that calculative towards his own flesh and blood was something she understood, but at the same time very puzzling to the lawyer.

"Miss Zhang are you telling me that you didn't know that he was that type of person?! Also, what do you think Mr Yang and President Zhang relationship was? Do you know that he is your uncle's adopted son?!"

The expression of utter amazement was on Zhang Mi's face, which had taken on a pale shade from the news, clearly she only thought that Yang Lin was one of the people her uncle did charitable work towards, even the court documents didn't state so, because his life was heavily guarded. To others Yang Lin was a recipient of the graces of Zhang Tianyu, during his growing up years he lived in the town house not the Zhang manor, when he became an adult he was assigned to the Zhang heiress after her parents death.

Although, he worked at Zhang Corporation he was brought in as an employee whose education was sponsored under the "Zhang Scholarship for the underprivileged", therefore his presence didn't raise any suspicion or questions.

"But Yang Lin? Is only one of the people my uncle helped with their education?! There is no way that I wouldn't know if my Uncle adopted him! My parents would have said so!"

Tao Jun looked at the naive woman across from her, her pale complexion had lost more color, she saw as the other woman was trying to take in a more shocking revelation regarding a trusted relative.

"Did you ask? Or bother trying to get to know Mr Yang more?! I get you were blinded by your uncle's deception, but not knowing the person that you were going to be working together with in such an intimate way, is pure stupidity! It doesn't matter whether he was someone your uncle knew!"

The Zhang heiress bristled with rage, she couldn't stand the tone that the lawyer was using on her, instead of lashing out at the perpetrator of the insult, she turned and vented on Yang Lin, pointing her fingers shakily at him.

"I hate your guts! Why did you bother reappearing in my life?! You piece of S$@*! Go back to that a$$hole of an uncle and pray that you never have to see my face again, the day you do, that will be your last time!"

None of them was more surprised than Lu Yi, he thought someone else was speaking and not the sweet young girl he knew from memory. Tao Jun lost it at that point, as she suddenly rose up to grab the Zhang heiress by the neck.

"Let's get this straight! Your poor judgment led to the company being stolen from you, it is true that Mr Yang played a part, but it was all you! I can't believe that prison hasn't sharpened your senses! At this rate even if I win, you'll still end up back here. Listen up! You silver spoon arrogant B%$#@! Mr Yang has expressed how sorry he is, okay! Get off that "poor me" state that you're in, Mr Yang is a good man! I wish you will just open your eyes and see it before you let your anger rob you from seeing the genuine concern that we all have for you!"

As Tao Jun spoke, surprisingly Lu Yi jumped in, "Don't speak to her that way! You're the lawyer you should be looking out for your client, not berating her!"

The good natured look on Lu Yi's face had been replaced with disgust at Tao Jun's attitude towards Zhang Mi, he couldn't tolerate the insufferable behavior of the other woman.

Yang Lin sat with his fists clenched, he wanted to intervene, but didn't know how the Zhang heiress would take it. On the other hand the two women stared at each other with open animosity, so bad that it was almost as if electric current was sizzling from their gazes.

Meanwhile, Guard Niu was in the monitor room, looking at the CCTV monitors showing different parts of the prison including the visitation room. When she saw the other woman grab onto Zhang Mi, she stormed out of the room, leaving behind the guard assigned to that post.

The door was forced open, as the senior guard with an angry look, briskly approached the table, as she said, "Take your hands off her!"

Guard Niu had a trained figure and was very agile, as she tore open the grip of the lawyer on the Zhang heiress, before stooping to examine the pink discoloration from the vice-like grasp of Tao Jun. When she saw that her bruise was merely superficial, only then did she calm down, before asking how Zhang Mi was doing. As she spake to the Zhang heiress, there was no mistaking the gentle touch that she ran across the skin that had experienced the assault, while interchangeably running her fingers through the Zhang heiress hair, before subtle bending to plant a light kiss in the direction of Zhang Mi's nape.

Dumbfounded by what they were seeing, even Lu Yi that spend many years in the states, struggled to put a name to the relationship of the guard and the Zhang heiress.

While all this was going on, Zhang Mi had a look of utter confusion, not knowing what to make of the guard's behavior in the presence of others.

"This is the time to cleanly break up whatever you have going on with the head guard! If words get out that the President of Zhang Corporation had a secret girlfriend while in prison, your stock crashing would be the least of your worries! Get your act together and see you in court!"

That being said, the lawyer flew out of the room in rage, while Yang Lin and Lu Yi slowly rose up to take their leave too, they waited until the guard picked up the Zhang heiress by the hand, supporting most her weight, this created the illusion of Zhang Mi being carried as she left the room with her hair covering a face that had taken a scarlet shade from embarrassment. Speechless, both men left PaoYin prison the same way they first came in, this time there was no trace of Tao Jun outside.
