"Guess it's time to go and meet my new teammates."

He thought while looking at the time, seeing that he was indeed somewhat late. Soon he summoned his new attire to be worn as a sect member. Before him, he saw purple robes, black pants, and some purple shirts.

"Nah, these all seem so formal, this is definitely not me. How then do I make this work?"

He had his hands to his jaw as he sought answers to this minor inconvenience.

I'm all about comfort and freedom. Let's see, if I made some slight alteration here and there, it might be moulded into something that could work."

Soon he summoned a scissor to his hand and in a flash, snapping sounds could be heard. After a while, something unique was formed.

"Hmmm, now that is definitely me. I'll complete the rest when I am back, but I probably should leave some untouched in case there is a need to blend in with the populous."

As he readied himself to go outside he heard the door open. There he saw May in a purple top and black skirt. When she saw what Taf had done to his new sect clothing she couldn't be more bemused.

He had cut the top half off his robes making it into a sleeveless shirt and embroidered the word Mouse on his back…

"Why am I not surprised? Hmmm, you do carry it off quite well I must admit…"

She then critiqued his attire giving him an approving nod.

" Guess fashion is another calling of mine big flower huh. You're looking quite beautiful today I must admit."

Taf smiled as he made his way towards May who looked splendid in the colours of the sect.

" Wait today, are you saying I'm not always sir..?"

She folded her arms while teasing him before poking out her tongue...

" I wouldn't have a need for eyes if i thought anything less..."

He replied to the teasing words of May...

Within one of the many open training areas fighting were two men. One of which had hair that was mint green with a thin sword and the other with a sabre and dark black hair...

They exchanged one blow after the other as both their sword and sabre clashed, so too did their qi explode.

From their duel, it could be seen that neither wanted to give the other the upper hand. Viewing them to the side were the other members of Team Malgrey Cameron, Neisha and Malgrey.

Lovren once more sprinted off incinerated the green grass below as his feet ignited into flames. Once more he battled with Luke who slashed out with his sword sending out gayle force winds...

While the three watched Neisha could not help but utter her slight observation...

" This is what happens when there is stiff competition for places. I've always tried to motivate that Luke but never could I get him to train as intensely as he is at the moment."

Malgrey replied as he threw some raw meat into the white hawk's beak who hurriedly gobbled it up.

" Speaking of which, where are those two. The sect is quite large, I wonder if they were lost on their way? You did give them proper directions didn't you Malgrey?"

A sudden realization dawned as Niesha noticed Taf and May were yet to be seen...

" Are you really surprised? Remember when we had to await their arrival when leaving Marvel City? They will be here..."

As Malgrey's words left him he felt a gust of wind above their heads. Instinctively looking up he saw a red-feathered eagle with tinges of yellow within its features.

The arrival of the newcomers halted the battle that was currently in its final stages...

" Don't stop on our account we were quite entertained by the previous battle.."

As Taf spoke he jumped off Hammerheads back while it hovered slightly above. The ground seemingly couldn't bear his dismount as it. Was cracked by his force.

There Taf stood with a somewhat cheeky smile on his face. Dressed from head to toe in his custom made clothing. This drew some odd stares from the others.

" You're late, don't think because of the special circumstances you are given leeway. This team is all about being a cohesive unit and it won't change on your account. If training begins at 8:00 am, You arrive at 7:30, there is no exception to the rules."

Malgrey firmly spoke as he once more threw some meat in the direction of the hawk...

" A firm leader you are I see, I like. It seems my reputation seemingly precedes me and I am seen as an adversary to authority.

Let me make it clear however for the time we are a team, myself and May will take our roles very seriously. We'll be what's termed? I think.., team players."

As Taf spoke Malgrey, Neisha and the rest were quite surprised by his words. They slightly expected a back and forth between the two before one had the higher ground.

From the strength he showed at the wall, he and Malgrey might be evenly matched. So though compared to Malgrey he was only a child, he had just as much right to be the leader of the team based on strength.

" That is indeed something pleasant to the ears. Well, I guess there are no introductions to be made. I'm sure you both remember the other members of the team Niesha, Cameron, Lovren and Luke?"

The members of Team Malgrey in one form or the other greeted both May and Taf who were now members...

" As Taf previously told Malgrey, let's make bygone be bygones. We've never been ones to work with teams so pardon any ignorances that might be discovered on our accounts."

May too joined the conversation as Hammerhead finally landed on the ground. She wore a smile on her face as she assessed once more each of there member.

On their previous encounter, both herself and Taf couldn't assess their strengths with certainty but now all was known.

Out of the five members Cameron, Luke and Lovren were all at the 8th stage of qi condensation. With Niesha and Malgrey both being at the 9th.

It can be said that based on the qi emitted by Niesha she was of similar strength to Kallen who Taf previously pummeled at the walls.

While it was evident as to the reasons why Malgrey was the leader of the group, as he was nearing the peak of the 9th stage.

Taf too assessed all of the five, their strengths were close to what he had previously expected...

" So squad leader Malgrey, I was told we would undertake missions outside of the sect frequently. I must say I am quite excited about these undertakings.."

While the members were drawn back by Taf's change in personality he acted obliviously to their odd stare. He was taught to always adjust to his circumstances. Life was a game to win it, see each piece for its role on the board and treat it accordingly.

" Actually sadly we have had a dry spell in terms of missions in the last year. Even the most basic of missions have been placed elsewhere..."

Niesha lamented as she remembered how envious they had been of the other squads as they flew off to their missions.

They, on the other hand, were limited to only activities within the sect.

" So missions are assigned and not requested then?"

May curiously asked as the topic was raised.

" A bit of both actually, for three-star squads and above they can request missions. These missions tend to be more rewarding but are equally as terrifying.

For teams such as ours, we have yet gained the right to request special missions. Thus, we are subjected to the dreaded waiting cycle.

We are notified via a transmission when a mission has been declared."

Niesha once more took the role of explaining the matter to the two. While Niesha continued to expound on the topic...

A vibration was felt in Malgrey's right ear where his transmitter was location.
