“Not a big deal.” Lin Jie tried to ignore Zheng Ziliang, but his eyes were looking at him with determination. Lin Jie gave in and said, “Could you wake me up in five hours?”

“Sure. Jie, this serum can only give you energy, but it cannot replace sleep. It would be terrible if you became addicted to it. I know you are a more hardcore player than me, but you, at least, need to sleep for 3 hours.” Zheng Ziliang sat down casually. “We have our finals in a couple of days. At least, go to the class and let the teacher know your face, okay?”

Best Of The Best was held in an ancient map called [Ragnarok]. It was said to be a place where the gods fought among themselves. Unlike the normal arena, there were no bounds in this map. This prevented situations in the like melee jobs countering the ranged jobs in a normal arena setting. The extra place also allowed players to have more room to improvise. The observers could change their view angle too.

However, to ensure that no player dragged the game on purpose, all participants would be teleported to a random location if there was no battle in 30 seconds.

There were a total of 5 games in Best Of The Best. The matchmaking was random, and the best ten would enter the final.

With the City Leader's benefit, Lin Jie was teleported to the Holy Church Gate. The other four members were waiting for him. Contract Summoner Innocent Killer, Ascetic Priest Bu Yi, Elemental Shaman Charming Smile, and Elemental Sword Artist Baili Changcheng. This was Lin Jie's team.

Light flickered, and the five of them were teleported to the center of the stage. They were surrounded by mist. The atmosphere was filled with ancient scent. The mist would only disperse during the final battle.
