“Great! I know Chairman Fox is farsighted!” laughed Lin Jie as he patted Dumb Fox's shoulders . “Brothers from Brotherhood, enter the Steel Alliance's team, we will retreat together after I get the gains!”

“Yes!”

Before Dumb Fox could react, Lin Jie had already directed his followers to enter the team and filled up the gaps in between . One of them 'accidentally' fell down and dropped granites all around . He tried hard to stifle his laughter as he picked the granites up .

In fact, as there were many Brotherhood's members within the Steel Alliance, they all greeted the solo players affectionately when they saw them . The two forces became all the more closely knitted .

“What the heck,” cursed Dumb Fox secretly . This was simply forcing him to comply!

Heaven Plume was about to question Dumb Fox's intentions for letting Brotherhood's members join them when Lin Jie interrupted, “Heaven, we can be considered old pals . Thanks for introducing me to this team, I am prepared to enter the Thunderbolt Hell now, remember to arrange for Priests to help me maintain my health points . ”

Dumb Fox looked at Heaven Plume in realization .

Lin Jie raised Broken Blade proudly and pointed it up to the skies . Thunder roared, but gathered upon him to form a dark purplish armor!

Seeing Lin Jie step into the Thunderbolt Hell, Baili Xuanyuan was both shocked and angered . He urged all his Mages to aim their AOE spells on Lin Jie and ordered them to blast Lin Jie to his death inside the space!

However, this revealed his ignorance of The New Age's Elemental Magic as a Warrior type job: What was the Thunder Silver-Feathered Eagle? It was a Sub-Legendary Boss! The Thunder Element magic radiating from its body was far more superior than the lower-level spells conjured up by the Elemental Mages . Thus, how could their spells get within the space?

During the first few seconds of activating Thunder Descent, Lin Jie would be immune to all Thunder-type attacks . He made use of this opportunity to rush to the Boss' corpse and grabbed all the rewards spawned . There were plenty of materials, equipment and… an egg?!

'The Pet Egg!'

Three words flashed past Lin Jie's mind . He activated Flame Boost and stabbed hard into the ground, digging a hole which was about one meter deep, and quickly buried the egg in, covering it up with handfuls of earth and weeds . Under the effect of the thunder all around, the earth gave off a charred smell and soon merged with the ground .

Lin Jie rushed out from the Thunderbolt Hell, and the purplish thunder which surrounded his body disappeared gradually . The immunity effect of Thunder Damage by the Thunder Armor had worn off!

“Kill them!” Baili Xuanyuan was enraged as he saw the rewards Lin Jie held in his hands . All these should belong to him!

Dumb Fox looked at Lin Jie and shouted, “Who dares to move!”

Both sides were prepared to open fire! Regardless of how strong Baili Xuanyuan was, he was still no match for the combined forces of Steel Alliance and Brotherhood!

“Retreat!” commanded Heaven Plume as he stared intently at the items in Lin Jie's hands . He was afraid that Lin Jie would take them all .

As soon as they left the Moldolita Forest region, Dumb Fox and Heaven Plume exchanged looks, and there was immediately a commotion within the group! Even though the guilds originally had brought ten thousand plus members there, they were only left with a few thousand members now . At their Chairmen's gestures, these guilds' members immediately pushed out Brotherhood's members .

Heaven Plume looked coldly at Lin Jie and said, “Leader Lone Wolf, now we can really discuss matters properly . I still haven't settled the issue of my Guild Base with you!”

Ghost Eyes held onto his Longbow and leaned onto a tree behind them, his eagle-like eyes staring at Lin Jie who was being surrounded .

Lin Jie smiled and said, “Seems like Chairman Fox is a clever guy . I thought I could sow discord between you all with just a few words . ”

Dumb Fox raised his brows . “Ha, thank you for your compliment, I really appreciate it . ”

Lin Jie placed the items he got on the floor, smiled, and said, “Okay, let's divide the stuff . Everyone take what you need and divide the load equally, I am always very fair . ”

Heaven Plume said in a matter-of-factly manner, “We will take all these . ”

Lin Jie turned grim . “What do you mean, Chairman Heaven Plume?”

“Can't you understand human words?” snorted Heaven Plume . “Lone Wolf, you really think you are some famous personality, don't you? I don't believe you have the ability to leave unscathed within all our forces! You previously ruined my Guild Base, just count yourself lucky that I didn't send out arrest orders for all Brotherhood's members! Since you helped us get the items out, I can forget about the past grudges . Now leave them here, and we won't guard your body after we kill you . Or else…”

“Or else what?” said a voice from the outer rims of the group, mockingly .

The Heavenly Shield suddenly appeared at the outer rims of the forest with a serious look on his face… Not only that, more and more people came out from the surroundings, and circled the Steel Alliance!

Netherblue, Qiu Yuan, Star Kill and the rest all stood in front of their teams and looked smilingly at the Steel Alliance's members .

Lin Jie had learned about this Sub-Legendary Boss from The Heavenly Shield and Netherblue . The Heavenly Shield was the Chairman of Ironwall Empire, and though most of his members had already merged with Brotherhood, this also meant that he could summon more people to heed his orders if there was a need to . Heeding his call, many players, members or not, had come to his aid . Other than that, Netherblue had also gathered the skilled members of the Second Savage Blade to Fifth Savage Blade teams and rushed here .

However, when The Heavenly Shield and others arrived, they realized that the Boss was already being surrounded by the Steel Alliance and other guilds . As such, many of Brotherhood's members hid themselves and decided to strike out at opportune chances, employing the tactics of “allowing the mantis to stalk the cicada, while the oriole follows behind” 1  . They only sent out a few scouts to get updates about what happened on site . Following which, Lin Jie appeared and managed to stop a battle just by himself, and hence Brotherhood's main army was intact .

Thus, now…

Dumb Fox's expression turned cold . He questioned, “Lone Wolf, looking at this situation, are you planning to keep all the gains?”

“Oh, no, no, no, Chairman Fox . I said before that we will divide the gains equally . I only arranged for this to protect my own interests,” Lin Jie smiled radiantly as he took up the items in his hands again .

“There are a total of 30 Thunder Silver-Feathered Eagle's Feathers, these are Sub-Legendary materials which can provide 80 additional points of Mana Defense, with an additional 2% chance of ignoring one magical attack . We shall each have 10, how's that?”

Heaven Plume looked at Brotherhood's members who surrounded them, drew a sharp breath, nodded, and said, “Alright . ”

“I am not talking to you,” Lin Jie took out the feathers, gave Ghost Eyes and Dumb Fox 10 feathers each, then kept the remaining 10 into his own backpack .

Heaven Plume gritted his teeth and commented, “Lone Wolf, aren't you being too unreasonable?”

“Me, unreasonable? Nope,” Lin Jie took out a Longbow and couldn't help but admire out loud, “Wow, look, here's the Thunder Silver Feather Bow . This is a Sub-Legendary fragment, with an Attack of 200-300, Agility +50, Penetration +30, and additional Thunder Arrows which have Attack of +20 with anesthetic effects . Oh, it still comes with a Three-Shot Skill . This is indeed a great item, Chairman Ghost Eyes…”

Ghost Eyes was always the most sensitive among the three, and he also had a straightforward personality . He grabbed the weapon, smiled, and said, “Are you trying to divide the alliance between our guilds with these gains?”

Lin Jie grinned and replied, “Yes . ”

“Congrats, you have succeeded then,” Ghost Eyes pulled on the bowstring and gave off a rumbling thunder sound . “I can't resist the temptation of Sub-Legendary weapons . ”

These were originally devious schemes that shouldn't be spoken out, yet now Lin Jie just revealed them all in front of everyone . Heaven Plume felt extremely awful as if he was shot in his chest!

“Next up is the Shield of Unexpectedness . This is also a Sub-Legendary fragment, with Defense of 300, Health Points +500, Endurance +40, Block 14%, and an additional Level 3 Thorns Aura and Level 3 Aggro Enhance . This is just perfect for our beautiful lady Inksnow,” Lin Jie toyed around with a shield which had feathers over it and handed it smilingly to Inksnow .

Inksnow's beautiful eyes scanned Lin Jie up and down, and said coldly, “Your fake smile is so disgusting . ”

Lin Jie shrugged . “I think so too . ”

“As for the last weapon…” Lin Jie toyed with a longsword which emitted lightning all around and put a small smile on his face before revealing its attributes in the air .

This Longsword's attributes was even stronger than Broken Blade!

Thunderstorm was a powerful Skill, and it had a cooldown period of six hours, In terms of prowess, this would be enough to kill Tiger King Bangalash—not only that, equipping this sword allowed Broken Blade to have an additional Level 1 Thunderstorm skill .

“Leader Lone Wolf!” asked Dumb Fox as he looked at Lin Jie's leaving figure, “Did you secretly keep any items?”

Lin Jie stopped, nodded, and said, “Yes, I did . ”

These three words were like huge hammers which hit down mercilessly on the group .

Yes, I did—but what could you do to me?

Nothing!

Dumb Fox took a look at the Sub-Legendary Shield Inksnow was holding, and squeezed out a bitter smile . This was no way division of gains, but rather… granting of rewards!

“Welcome, Leader!”

“Leader's back!”

Once Lin Jie was out, Brotherhood's members automatically separated to form a path for him . One could see how much prestige he had gained among Brotherhood's members in this single gesture!

Netherblue asked, “Why give the equipment to them? We have no problems snatching all of them!”

Lin Jie nodded in agreement, but then changed to a more serious tone when he replied, “Indeed, we can snatch all of them, but what about after that? What will happen to us if we become enemies with all the guilds?”

Netherblue turned silent .

“That person's appearance has made me feel a sense of danger . No matter what, I can't let all these people become my enemies,” Lin Jie opened up his palms, smiled and added, “however, I won't let our brothers suffer unfair losses . I have already arranged for some people to help rent large vehicles from City of Light . We will move the eagle's body back, and make a feast out of it! Everyone will definitely see some increase in their Stats after eating it, so let's go!”

“Sure!”

“By the way, is this the first time I pronounced the word 'eegle' wrongly? Hahaha!”

“Off with you! Leader, we will be waiting for your feast!”
