Benz Deaucock, a retired office worker from Milky Way Galaxy, enjoyed playing LHO since the game went open beta. It was his first-time experience in VRMMO that he never had a chance to play in his life.

After retirement, he exchanged some of his savings money into diamonds, hoping to buy a new life in-game like his peers, who had already transferred their souls into other games.

Deaucock hoped that he, too, could live a good second life in a good world. With his diamonds, he should be able to become one of the top players in a server and settle a new family here.

Unfortunately, he ended up playing on server 1.

Because of his enthusiasm, he entered the game too fast when the servers first launched. As a result, he got involved in the most chaotic server, where Misha and others were.

Benz Deaucock regained his sense a few seconds later after the conversion. It was the conscience of the black slime, but he mistook his identity as Benz Deaucock as the latter's memory was clearer than his previous life's recollection.

He looked around and found many players, staring at him in confusion and astonishment.

Because of the bickering earlier, Des made Moo and Non fight in mind space battles as slime killer specialists since they got used to dealing with these creatures.

None of them complained as the rewards were worth it. For every kill, they obtain 100 free status points as a reward, not including the loot from kobold's bodies.

But their monopolizing on the kills did not last long.

In the sky, Misha flew in a circle, reading and scanning the battlefield.

"Tama, control my body from now on. Try to mimic Shurka's flame tentacles if you can."

*Mew* (Going to mind space battle again?)

"Yeah, I notice that these guys are converting innocent players into their kind. I can't allow that to happen. Who knows if the converted players are still alive or not in real life?"

Misha descended and stomped on the face of a converted slime knight.

The force and the momentum behind her strike planted the knight's head on the ground.

The sudden appearance of Misha alarmed the rampaging kobolds and the knights as her appearance resembled their boss, the Dark Misha. None of them was willing to attack her first.

The eyes of Misha met with one of the knights. She glared at it as she activated a skill that Mia dreaded for its side effects.

Like a black slime, Misha's soul jumped into the soul space of a converted knight.

The empty white room reddened the moment Misha stepped her feet into the place, but she did not care about it. Misha found the murky slime, which was clinging onto its new soul core.

As long as it had the core, the knight could continue manipulating the new body.

In anger, Misha summoned a fireball by using her soul hunter class system while she used her experience to create a bolt of chain lightning.

The lightning struck the slime knight, but it did not deal damage to it. However, it distracted the knight and gave Misha a room for her next moves.

Misha tossed the fireball at the knight, but the latter sidestepped and dodged it.

However, he did not see another attack, which came together with the fireball.

Blast!

An invisible cannon punctured through its body center and destroyed the core, which it was protecting.

"Go to hell."

The room squirmed as if it came to life. Like how Misha locked Lucien inside her soul space, the injured knight was doing the same.

But Misha did not allow it.

"I don't know why, but I hate you, dirty souls. Just die!"

A strange sensation of anger and hatred swelled in Misha's heart as she summoned more fireballs and cooked the slime knight.

The slime screamed in pain, but it kept using its power and shrink the mind space, trying to squeeze Misha along with it.

"Naïve."

Misha activated her flame field, which she combined the game skill with Mia's experience.

Instead of creating a small shockwave, it generated a flame tornado, which was similar to what Shurka was using. However, the temperature from the firestorm was much higher than Shurka's version, as this skill came from Misha's imagination and her psych force.

The soul room slowly cracked and revealed an escape route. Yet, Misha did not retreat.

She converted her arms into two giant balls with mouths.

They bit the knight, chewing it alive.

*KRUK!*

As if karma struck back at them. As the slime had eaten an innocent player's soul, Misha did the same to them.

The moment all memory fragments and the knight's soul was consumed by Misha, she shoved new experience to the back of her head without trying to recollect it and returned her conscience to her main body.

Misha spent too much time trying to kill this monster in their home ground. She was also annoyed by the fact that her abilities were limited in a stranger's mind space. Had she fought in her soul room, the black slime could have been killed with a single blast skill.

As soon as she got back to her body, she found out that Tama was being besieged by kobolds from all sides.

Fortunately, these kobolds could not penetrate her flame field shield. Or else, she would have already been dead long ago.

As for the slime knight that Misha had possessed, it stopped moving as its HP had already dropped to zero, dead.

Not only the kobolds around Misha paused, all 2,000 remaining field bosses stopped moving, but they turned toward Misha.

Deaucock, who had become a new leader of the attacking force of black slime soldiers, stopped attacking a nearby player and turned toward Misha's direction as well.

"Fake Misha spotted. KILL!!"

Deaucock and two other slime knights broke free from Misha's control and rushed toward the general direction of this fairy overlord.
