This was her first artifact in the open-beta. Misha did not know how if the 5-star earrings were better or worse than other 5-star items in the same tier. Still, having one was better than having none.

Misha put it on.

The earrings came in the form of lava stones, which emitted a red aura of fire. By wearing these earrings, Misha could feel the surge of heat entering her body through her ears.

As Misha learned about items and artifacts, she gazed at the gacha menu.

Unfortunately, she only had event gacha tickets, which could only draw accessories at the moment. She hesitated if she should spend her precious 100 tickets for more items.

"Should I wait for an armor event or a weapon event? I want to use my gacha tickets."

*Mew* (Having a million unused tickets is the same as having none! Use them all! May the salt be with you!)

Although Tama encouraged her to use them all, Misha was not optimistic.

She gazed at the gacha info. There was a list of gacha chances.

Also, at the bottom of the screen, there were three choices that Misha could choose.

Without hesitation, Misha upgraded the artifact, and the two 5-Star items became one, transforming into a 6-Star.

Then, the game launched a server-wide announcement.

The status of this artifact could be seen by all players in server 1, which caused an uproar.

"A 6-Star item already!? Is Misha becoming a PTW now?"

Male players and human girls were indifferent toward the item, but all non-human female players were burnt with envy. They begged their boyfriends, fathers, sugar-daddies, pursuers, or their relatives for diamonds.

It was their nature. Even if they might not get the same artifact, jewelry and fashionable trinkets were treasures to them. Everyone wanted to look pretty with the jewels.

While other players speculated and gossiped about Misha's new item, the owner of the ring frowned.

There was one thing that disturbed Misha's mind.

"If I die, will this item also drop from my dead body?"

This was a harsh game as everything the player possessed in the inventory and their equipment would always explode upon death.

Now that the server announced about her possession of this 6-Star artifact, other players might want to rob it from her by stealing it from her dead body in the future.

*Mew* (I think so. For now, let's get back to town and store all artifacts in the bank.)

As Misha was still flying on a low altitude, she looked around below her. Many players stared at her, pointing their fingers and gossiped with their friends. Their eyes revealed greed and hostility, but none of them had taken any action yet.

"Right. Better to be safe than sorry."

Drawing gacha outside towns was too risky. They returned to the Mafia Bank to store all gacha items.

When Misha stepped inside the Mafia Mall, all mafia inside the building glanced at her and kept their distance.

Eva and the building manager ran to welcome Misha. They bowed in frantic as they sweated bullets.

"Greetings, Miss Bloominglily. What can we do for you today?"

"I'm here to store items and update my passbook. Can you guide me to the bank, please?"

"Of course! Right away!"

No one dared to mess with Misha, who had the villainess and mafioso class.

Misha sorted all 3-Star and 4-Star artifacts. As there were 96 items, there were dupes, which Misha could combine and upgrade into another tier.

Thirteen pairs of 3-Star artifacts combined into 13 of 4-Star items. 

Coincidentally, seven of the newly upgraded items became new dupes of the other 4-Star items that Misha had drawn from the gacha.

As a result, Misha obtained 7 more 5-Star grade items, and 3 of them were useful to her.

The game allowed Misha to wear only 5 accessories, so she picked something that could boost her fireball and flame field attack power. With the stacked INT and damage bonuses, Misha believed that she might have a chance against the 100,000 HP field boss.

Moreover, the three items were a set, which gave Misha additional boosts. Unfortunately, she did not have the other two pieces, and these three items could not be upgraded anymore.

Also, the risks of losing all items upon death were there. Misha was afraid of the worst-case scenario.

"I wish that there is a way that we can bind these items to the character," Misha lamented.

*Mew* (Me too.)

As Misha still hesitated, she and Tama searched through their game menu, the VIP shop, and FAQ guides to see if there was a possibility of binding an item to a character.

After searching for 5 minutes, they found it and almost vomited blood.

"This bloody money-grubbing game!"

"^^^Giles Corey here. Once we're done leveling, we'll start hunting her."

"What's the point of hunting her anyway?"

"^Her gacha items."

"^^You think she will be stupid enough to carry those around?"

"^^^Binding orb is expensive. I doubt she will use it on her items if she can't even afford the EXP book."

Roman also joined the chat.

"Check her power ranking. Have you seen her current power?"

"I haven't checked yet … Give me a second."

"^Might be because of her class change. Have you seen Moo or Non's power? They surpass Misha."

"Humans get 5+2 points per level. Felionians get 5+3 in the first 100 level and 10+3 at level 101 to 200. They were in a different league."

"^Hi-Humans get 10+2, too. Don't lose heart."

"What about dragonewts? Has anyone get the info?"

"^5+2 all level. Aside from their high hunger bar, they suck."

"^^Misha and Shurka are the only dragonewts, though. How did you get that info?"

"^^^Level 100 evolution. The top guy in server 666 has evolved into a terra dragonewt, and I got a screenshot of his status. Also, their racial skills are OP. Don't look down on them."

"^^^^Make sense. They can fly too, right?"

Giles Corey changed the topic to their future plans.

"When we reach level 200 and change our main class, we'll talk about hunting Misha later. For now, concentrate on leveling. I'll invest in the gacha and VIP10."
