Chapter 48.3:

During the three-hour journey, Yan Ru Yu constantly disturbed her in her reading of the manuscript. Finally, she accompanied him to play poker for a while. Soon, the train arrived at the station.

Lan Ning rejoiced and went upstairs. And Yan Ru Yu had to follow up and speed up.

The door on the left side of the 7th floor was open. Lan Ning ran in and shouted at the back of the kitchen: 'Mum, I am back!'

'Ning Ning is back?' Lan Ning's mother, holding a spatula in her hand turned and looked at her. 'Its still very early today. It is almost ready.'

Lan Ning's mother listened with pride. She also picked up food and put in the bowl of Yan Ru Yu. 'If you like it, eat more. There are still plenty in the pot.'
