"Why the stare? You lost the bet, do come here and pay respects to me as your new master." Wandong said with a laid-back sneer, regardless of Wu Qiujun's horrifyingly icy look.

"What?" Wu Qiujun responded with towering fury. Feeling humiliated to the brim, Wu Qiujun let out a rampant cry and leaped up.

"Well, you're going back on your word?" Wandong asked, light-hearted.

Xu Wenchuan echoed with a smile, and said in a rather slack tone, "Wu Qiujun, being a businessman― you know better than me how important credit is."

"You...You shameless..."Wu Qiujun cried, almost suffocated with rage. By no stretch of imagination had he ever pictured his embarrassing checkmate. He still failed to come to the terms with what happened, which was just like a haunting nightmare,

Wandong said with a sneer, "Wu Qiujun, hold back your grievance. You know it's a blessing to have me as your master. It's fairly likely I would navigate you through cultivation all the way up to an even higher realm, out of your expectation." 

"Nonsense!" Hardly had Wandong finished his invitation, Wu Qiujun burst out condemning him.

Wandong took no notice of his rampant curse and responded with an aloof smile, "Well, well. You can take the horse to the water but you cannot make him drink. I won't coerce you. I'll let it be as you wish. Just forget about it."

"You give me your word?" Wu Qiujun hastened to confirm in agitation.

"Of course. But the one hundred cubes of raw blood steel gemstones..." Wandong tried to sound out Wu's intention.

"You bet. Apart from the blood steel gemstones, I'll give you a thousand kilo of gold." Wu Qiujun promised.

"That's a deal. I'm popping over to the Tianbao Pavilion tomorrow and pick a hundred cubes of blood steel gemstones in person. Please get prepared for that." Wandong said and nodded in straightforward agreement.

"You can by all means trust me. I'm a man of my word." Wu Qiujun said in relief.

"Heh heh..." Xu Wehnchuan hummed his scorn right on hearing Wu Qiujun's hilarious promise. Wu Qiujun crimsoned forthwith.

"Lengyan, let's go." Wu Qiujun bid his disciple. He was too humiliated to stay here for another minute. Then he rushed out the Dingshan Palace along with Duan Lengyan.

"Yaoting, you shouldn't have shown mercy to him. You were supposed to insist on him fulfilling the bet and make him thoroughly discredited," Xu Wenchuan sighed with a pity.

Wandong smiled wryly and said, " It would be pointless if I made him to. Otherwise ― sooner or later ― he would take revenge us by betraying me and ruining our palace out of humility if I forced him to accept me as his master.."

Wu Daozi nodded repeatedly and echoed with Wnadong's sentiment,"I agree with Yaoting. Your Highness, you were swayed by emotion. I deem it appropriate to deal with Wu Qiujun in Yaoting's manner. It's by no means pleasant to be haunted by the hatred of a master with ninth-level spiritual energy."
