Wu Yang let out a hum and said, "No big deal. My big brother Wandong treats me so well. He deserved my death for him."

"Very well said!" Wandong said in appreciation. He took Wu Yang into his arms with sparkles of satisfaction popping up in his eyes.

Nevertheless, Wandong was still doubting the propriety of doing so. He asked, "But Wu Yang, are you truly willing to disown your father for my sake?"

On hearing that, Leng Yuecui couldn't help but strike in with laughter, "Don't expect a fluke. Silly brat, I'm giving you a warning. Seeing Wu Yang get dreadfully scared, Wandong didn't have the heart to rope him in. Before he prepared to soothe Wu Yang, the latter knitted his eyebrows tightly all of a sudden and appeared steadfast.

While Leng Yuecui was marveling at Wu Yang's loyalty and courage, Wandong burst into a wave of laughter.

Being confused by Wandong's laugh, Leng Yuecui raised her eyebrows and asked, "What's wrong with you? How come you still have to heart to laugh at this moment? Don't you know he might have to die for you because of his implication in this matter?"

"But you've already there...Any chances to quiet down Wu Jinhun and make him let go of you?" Leng Yuecui asked in confusion.

"Of course! I can assure you that General Wu will not only spare me and Wu Yang but also thank us instead," Wandong said in a firm tone.

Leng Yuecui shook her head and said, "Xu Yaoting, this is the only morning now. It's way too early for you to have daydreams. Do you picture Wu Jinhun as a sock puppet for you to dupe?"

"Dupe? No, I've never thought about that," Wandong rebutted. Then he looked at Wu Yang and said in a firm tone with each syllable stressed, "Wu Yang, I'm gonna impart the genuine Star-Turmoil Techniques to you today."

No sooner had Wandong's voice faded away than Leng Yuecui and Wu Yang let out a simultaneous cry, "The genuine Star-Turmoil Techniques?"  They gazed at one another, with their countenances teeming with bewilderment.

Wandong took no notice of their reactions and said to Wu Yang with his eyes fixed on the latter, "Wu Yang, do you know the reason why the Star- Turmoil Techniques created by your family can easily render warriors possessed by the devil at the last stage of cultivation?"
