 "I beg your pardon?" Ma Yi asked, bewildered. Looking Lin Xiao over,  he assumed that Wandong was merely joking.

The drunkard had attained a cultivation of spiritual energy at the fourth level. However, Ma Yi failed to trace any fluctuations of spiritual energy in Wandong. There was such a striking gap between them that it only made sense if Wandong was kidding with Ma Yi.

"Well, it seems that General Ma hates to lose a powerful warrior like him," Wandong said with a sneer, feeling Ma Yi's eyes on him.

"Yes, indeed. I don't have the heart to witness Childe Xu, such a promising hunk, with a bright future ahead, end up dead today on the spur of the moment," Ma Yi responded with mannerism.

"You'd better have watched yourself while saying that.  Without further ado, I'm getting make a move if you give me your permission," Wandong said in an impatient tone.

Seeing Wandong appearing in all seriousness, Ma Yi couldn't help but laugh and thought to himself, "A useless dandy exclaimed that he would challenge a martial master with a much superior martial cultivation. Was he born dumb? Or is he nuts?"

Now that the animosity was there, Ma Yi had to let it be, otherwise, there would be endless problems coming hot on the heels of this issue. Then Ma Yi nodded seriously and said loudly, "The Qinglong Gang has nothing to do with the drunkard at all.  Whether he will die or not is none of our business. Now that Childe Xu is ready for action, I shall stand by and cheer you up."

Wandong let out a sneer and said, curving his lips, "You just wait there and get ready for his burial."

Then Wandong spread his arms forthwith like a graceful soaring crane, dashing into the duel between Leng Yuecui and the drunkard.

Ma Yi sneered and thought, "It appears that I underestimated the dandy's competence. But he is still destined to die owing to his complacency."

While having that idea in mind, Ma Yi turned pale as if he had seen a phantom, thunderstruck.

Wandong's move was not only terribly elegant but also extremely accurate as if he had identified the drunkard's Archille's heel. He stretched his right palm and plunged a grab at the left portion of the drunkard's belly, which was, the most vulnerable part of his body.

Without Wandong's move, Ma Yi wouldn't have been able to recognize the drunkard's weak link. "Should I attribute it to Wandong's sharp observation or simply a coincidence?" Ma Yi thought to himself, hesitantly.

Right then, the drunkard was shocked to death. By no stretch of the imagination could he ever expect that Lin Xiao could have found his weak link in such an amazing manner as if he had known his cultivation methods inside and out.

As a matter of fact, the drunkard planned to defeat Leng Yuecui first before sorting Wandong out at full capacity. However, now he had to make a tactic change. He let go of Leng Yuecui and rushed backward. During his retreat, the drunkard hastened to concentrate half of his spiritual energy into his right palm and hacked at Wandong, in the hope that he could get some time to get out of the plight.

Having been suppressed by the drunkard to a suffocating amount, Leng Yuecui couldn't get around to noticing the changes in her surroundings. She didn't know that Wandong already took part. Not until the drunkard let her go did she notice Wandong.

Leng Yuecui was about to remind Wandong to tread carefully when she found that the laidback facial expression vanished on the drunkard's face. Instead, he put on a serious look, with waves of scare welling up in his eyes. Seemingly, the drunkard had encountered a tough opponent.

Leng Yuecui got bewildered. Looking over at Wandong, she finally realized that Wandong aimed at the weakest part of the drunkard's moves and almost put him down on the spot. Hence the drunkard got loads of nerves.

Leng Yuecui couldn't help but marvel at Wandong's admirable outstanding cultivation and acute perception in the field of martial laws. Although he might not be her equal in the cultivation of spiritual energy, he remained utterly superior to her. It explained the previous marvel that he rendered Jin Mu useless within one move. At that moment, Leng Yuecui got out-and-out convinced by Wandong's capacity.
