Chapter 9

I shook my head,suddenly dizzy, disoriented from the events of the previous few minutes, which felt like a nightmare, chaotic and painful.

I had no idea if my father had gone to the Chu family's house, nor did I know what to do; I wanted to call Chu Shian, but I didn't have a phone... Tears quickly flowed, and the anguish in my heart seemed like I was being bullied. I was curled into a ball, which made me shaky, and I soon knelt on the ground.

I banged my skull against the floor one by one, unable to relieve my body's searing agony, dread, worry, and despair. These emotions were continually increasing, racing to the darkest, most enclosed location, causing victims to choke.

I had no idea when I fainted; all I remembered is smacking my head and bleeding, my eyesight becoming fuzzy, and then nothing.

It felt like a lifetime had gone till I awoke to find the familiar sunlit bedroom.

A little cry pierced my ear, and I turned to see my mother, her eyes red and puffy, watching over my bed. I desperately closed my eyes, but it wasn't a nightmare.

"An An, you agree with me, cut it off, what can you do to torture yourself like that? You corrected it; it'll be OK in the future, okay?" My mother massaged the wound on my forehead, and the final few phrases were accompanied by sobbing, tears falling down one by one.

I closed my eyes tiredly, my voice hoarse: "Mom, it can't be fixed."

"So what do you want?!" My mother's voice suddenly became sharp, couldn't help but scream, "Forcing your parents to die?! Like Mrs Lu?!"

Hearing death and Mrs Lu, my pupils moved, nails dug deep into the palms of my hands, like sand in my throat, unable to say a single word.

My mother breathed deeply in order to calm herself, but her tone had changed: "His parents brought him home, and if anybody thinks first, one goes out first."

Brought to house? "Why do you still want to come find him?! " I opened my eyes, my face were forced red. " I said I'd begin first! Why are you still looking for him?!"

My mother held her breath for a few seconds, so angry that she wanted to slap me to keep me awake, but she was terrified of the wound on my forehead, so she didn't.

She reddened and clinched her teeth before saying: "Take a look at yourself now! Su An, do you want to kill your mother?" That being said, she turned around and walked out.

I laid on the bed with bleary eyes, remembering every hour and minute I spent with Chu Shian, remembering his farewell kiss that night... My heart ached as I burst out laughing, laughed and laughed and sobbed, the level of the torso's pain too aggressive that grab the chest.

"Dad and Uncle Chu have completed negotiating," he said calmly as he clutched my phone in his palm.

He also did not deny: "I want to do everything as long as you can be normal again."

The rims of my eyes turned red: "Why isn't it normal, Dad, I only like one person?"

"I don't care who you like. But you son of a bitch dates men!" my father attempted to calm himself. " Is this normal? Do you feel hurt at all when your mother tears because you, weeping during the day and at night?"

I lowered my head and said nothing, for a long time, I only heard him sigh: "It's good to break up early,you know Uncle Chu's temper is not good."

I suddenly remembered Chu Shian being beaten up and unable to get out of bed after the university entrance exam. I was weary, didn't want to move or speak, and it seemed like every cell in my body had lost its vigor.

"Break up."

I had just completed transmitting when the other side answered, "Okay."

My father grabbed the phone from my grasp and went outside, saying, "Rest well, this Sunday their family will go abroad, wait for them to go, then you will go back to your university."

It wasn't until I heard the door close that tears welled up in my eyes. I wiped my tears with my sleeve, there was no hope, what the hell, it's okay, it's surely not Chu Shian, but...

This was not blood, but tears.
