A Sorcerer's Journey 567 Bloodprint Invasion

Hearing the melodious sound of the horn echoing throughout the Void Fortress, Grimm shouted angrily but could do nothing about it.

As a Demon-Hunter Sorcerer with a Rank-1 Honor Badge, the Demon-Hunter expedition was as important as a Stigmata Sorcerer was to Grimm, both could be treated as an act of task investment, and so conventional Demon-Hunter tasks could be avoided.

But to any Demon-Hunter Sorcerer, even if it was a Stigmata Sorcerer, the basic task of a Sorcerer in a foreign expedition was to protect the Void Fortress, and not a single mistake was allowed!

The shadow catastrophe of the Amonro World, even if Grimm's magic power had been depleted, required him to meditate and defend at the same time on the fortress, using all his power.

With a 'whoosh', Grimm flew out from the inner fortress and landed on the edge of the fortress. As he looked into a distance, he could not see any traces of the Evil Blood Dreadlord, merely rumbling sounds reverberating throughout the skies as a Magnetite mountain that surrounded the Grand Peak Magnetite Star came down from the skies.

After all these years, the Magnetite mountains around the Grand Peak Magnetite Star was descending onto the world.

It was as if the whole world was rejecting this place!

"What's happening?"

Grimm flew toward a small team of four Dark Demon-Hunter Sorcerers, the leader was a Sorceress, her skin was pale, and her body lean with exceptional energy, there was a black crescent mark on the middle of her forehead.

Behind the Sorceress, there were two other women and a man, all four Sorcerers were Level-1 Sorcerers.

"It's the Light Mausoleum Castle on the ground, the Evil Blood Dreadlord has destroyed a few Light Mausoleum Castle defence systems from the underground, and killed some Demon-Hunter Sorcerers."

Under the black crescent moon mark, the Sorceress's eyes that were full of wisdom were looking at Grimm.

The surrounding black aura made the mysterious Sorcerer's silhouette unclear, only a mask under a greyish white spiral pattern and a beautiful Myna could be seen, the eye sockets of the Sabbatic Goat Staff had black fires burning within.

Hoot…

The fortress's horn sounded once again, something behind the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers shook, and a sudden roar could be heard.

"Attack!"

When the Bright Demon-Hunter Sorcerer troops had yet moved, the Dark Sorcerers had already started charging forward, their target being the Bloodprint Creatures and Evil Blood clones that were crawling out of the hollow pit far below on the ground.

The Light Mausoleum Castles shot out beams of Light Mausoleum Rays one by one, even though a part of the hundreds of Light Mausoleum Castles on the vast ground were destroyed by the Evil Blood Dreadlord, most of them were in perfect condition and could still unleash their powerful defence.

Under the blast of the Light Mausoleum Rays, many Bloodprint Creatures dropped dead in piles, the weak Bloodprint Creatures were pulverized easily after being shot by the rays, as they exploded into a sky of bloody mist.

Boom, boom, boom, boom…

These clones of the Evil Bloods then started to take cover behind the endless Bloodprint Creatures that were crawling out from the hollow pit, and were destroying those Light Mausoleum Castles that were standing alone.

They possessed the most rigid body formed from time that had passed, and a will and determination that did not fear death, but these ancient flesh and blood creatures had started to decay even with the protection of the Evil Bloods.

This was after breaking the underground seal when they could still radiate that final glory of theirs!

Compared to those Demon-Hunter Sorcerers that came for an expedition, compared to the Grand Peak Magnetite Star that could only last for who knows how many hundreds of years under the rejection of the world, the Evil Blood Dreadlord could wait no longer!

A lot of time had passed, even his own body had started to decay, and it could only use its will to drive the bloodstreams to continue existing, not to mention sustaining the Evil Blood clones that were produced by him.

Breaking the seal at this time to regain its freedom was also the same as breaking the protection on its body.

Following behind the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers, the towering Grand Peak Magnetite Star in the sky radiated Magnetite Rays, gathering all its power holding the last hopes of the Magnetite people, and showered upon the world.

Tens of thousands of Magnetite people were like shining stars of a vast galaxy, coming down successively.

"Young Master, this isn't good, it seems like a big war is gonna happen soon! Let me cover you and retreat!"

Looking at the situation, realizing it was a general attack by the Evil Blood Dreadlord, Little Myna standing on Grimm's shoulder shouted and flew back to the Demon-Hunter castle, setting an escape route for Grimm.

Grimm was not bothered by all this, as he dashed downward together with the tens of thousands of Demon-Hunter Sorcerers each secured with a Sorcerer's Barrier.

At times, Dark Demon-Hunter Sorcerers would have to retreat, and only protect the Void Fortress, while at other times, Demon-Hunter Sorcerers could not retreat, and could only confront the enemy with their own power.

"Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant!"

The gold and black flames on the Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant reflect onto each other, behind its chest were two mouths, one crying and the other laughing, as the seven-metre long Infernal Giant Sword hidden in the Darkness Pool was swung, and a ten-metre high wave of fire spread out in the shape of a fan.

Standing on the shoulder of the fifteen-metre tall Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant, Grimm's pair of eyes under the Mask of Truth was dark and cold, as ice and fire element on the two horns of the Sabbatic Goat Staff clashed, forming a dark red light ball that transformed into a light beam and disappeared in a flash.

"Fire Blast!"

Boom!

In a distance, the echo of the blast became one of the lights that started the war of Demon-Hunter Sorcerers all around, the tens of thousands of Demon-Hunter Sorcerers unleashed their combat abilities that had already exceeded these ancient Evil Blood clones' imagination!

Easily, the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers not only stopped the endless army of Bloodprint Creatures from crawling out from the ground, they also made them fall back mercilessly, these messy and weak flesh and blood creatures never stood a chance against the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers' fire attacks.

Thump!

The Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant landed on the ground, the Bloodprint Creatures nearby were already annihilated by a Level-3 Dark Demon-Hunter Sorcerer that had landed earlier, the weak Bloodprint Creatures were demolished by a powerful black hurricane.

A 'bang' sounded under this Level-3 Demon-Hunter Great Sorcerer, as two bloody hands suddenly reached out and transformed into tens of metres long and swung downward viciously.

"Watch out!"

Grimm yelled, as the Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant pulled out the giant sword while Grimm swung his staff, the Star Stones around his body transformed into black mist and spread around him.

"Hmph, you're the one that needs to watch out!"

Suddenly, this Level-3 Great Sorcerer appeared above Grimm's head.

The Sorceress had an innocent-looking face, her skin was the color of rye, it was incomparably delicate, her curved brows looked so soft, and her long black hair was like a waterfall with smooth strands fluttering about.

After a defence barrier was formed on the top of her light purple staff, that Sorceress helped Grimm block off another fatal blow of the bloody hands, she frowned as her brows were furrowed.

"Run! Your job is too drive out the Bloodprint Creatures, you won't be able to face these Evil Blood clones!"

After saying so, the Sorceress then noticed the vibrations of the Rank-1 Honor Badge on Grimm, it was sudden but there was no time to explain, a fierce war had erupted, a slight change meant attack waves of over thousands of degrees, Grimm was obviously not able to participate in this battle.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…

The descent of the light orbs of the Magnetite people filled the skies, beams of weak distorted Magnetite Ray attacks came down, the Magnetite people had joined in on the battle.

After being shouted at mercilessly by this Level-3 Great Sorceress, the powerlessness he felt behind the noble Rank-1 Honor Badge made Grimm grit his teeth, as he felt his face heating up.

Without the support of a corresponding strength, the glory and status brought by the Rank-1 Honor Badge was frivolous and hollow.
