A Sorcerer's Journey 563 Falling Star IV

A strong gust of wind combined with the Magnetite Ray was sliced open by the hideous bone spur on his forehead. The strong wind was gushing against his cheeks that were covered by the bone armor. An ultrasonic wave was emitted under the white spiral printed Mask of Truth as he clearly felt the blood python that was gaining on him.

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom...

It was the Magnetite light orb of a Magnetite person that was about ten meters tall. Grimm's body emitted a layer of ancient breath that could induce a large scale of Magnetite Star Light as he was faced in battle with the creature made of blood and flesh that had three odd yet gigantic tentacles.

Only a couple thousand meters left!

Grimm calculated the time needed for the blood python to catch up to him in his heart. The time was far from enough for him to escape toward the battlefield in front of him.

Little Myna had not flown far as well. If he were to rely on Little Myna for his escape, the blood python would still catch up to him in mere moments. And if that were the case, then there would truly be no chance for them.

In a split second, Grimm abruptly waved his magic staff behind him. An abundant flow of magic was released rapidly as he summoned his own elemental-activated creature. It was his strongest spell at the moment.

"Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant!"

Roar!

A tall figure of fifteen meters that was engulfed by gold flames intertwined with black flames appeared. The two mouths that were on the figure's back and chest, smiling and crying simultaneously, let out an eerie roar. Majestic air waves rippled in all directions as its two eyes rolled out like snails, carrying a cold cruel gaze.

However, what caught the eye most was the sword of darkness that could seemingly devour all light. The infernal blade was wrapped around by the Darkness Pool, presenting the Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant as a creature that was strong, mysterious and unrivaled.

Indeed, this elemental-activated creature of Grimm's was way stronger than other Level-1 creatures. It also belonged to one of the strongest among Level-2 creatures!

The arrival of the Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant drew the mass attention of the creatures in nearby battlefields. These creatures could not even begin to fathom the sorcery that Grimm had used to summon such a strong creature out of thin air.

The Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant might be strong, but it was only strong to those that were Level-1 creatures. It was nothing compared to this clone of the Evil Blood's main body. Grimm knew that very clearly.

Grimm agilely passed through the battlefield in front of him as he carefully avoided the wave ripples of a battle between this Magnetite Star Warrior and another Evil Blood's ordinary clone. Grimm's breathing was slightly hastened as the repulsive energy under his feet continued to accelerate, searching for traces of other Demon-Hunter Sorcerers that Could aid him.

Yet, this Bloodprint sample mission had only gathered a couple hundred elite Dark Demon-Hunters. That was far from enough for the huge battlefield. On top of that, most of the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers left the battlefield the moment they had completed their mission. That was why Grimm had yet to find signs of other Demon-Hunter Sorcerers.

As for flying toward the Dark Demon-Hunter's mechanical bee in a distance?

That would be impossible. Flying throughout the clear skies with nothing to cover him, Grimm would absolutely be killed by the blood python form clone of the Evil Blood Dreadlord.

The Level-3 ancient Magnetite Star Warrior realized that something was up. Instead of shielding Grimm from the dangerous attacks, it wanted to escape as well.

It was just that the Level-3 flesh creature would not let it leave easily. Not willing to spare it, the three eerie tentacles began to continue its attack. This sort of battle between Level-3 ancient creatures was indeed too earth-shattering for the newly-born, weak creatures.

The Evil Blood Dreadlord's clone morphed into the form of an old Sorcerer. It was just that the blood imprints surrounding his body was too obvious for it to become a disguise.

A poisonous horned skull was squeezed out of the tip of the tentacles from this old Level-3 flesh creature, a yellow, gooey, disgusting liquid with a horrible stench flowed out.

The skull returned back to the tentacle. Like three serpents swimming through waters, this strong ancient creature's three tentacles agilely crawled on the ground as it began chasing after Grimm.

On the other side, the Evil Blood Dreadlord's form of an old Sorcerer pointed at the ancient flesh creature that was chasing after Grimm. A drop of blood that emitted an evil, ominous and cold breath was shot into its body.

After the ancient creature's body slightly vibrated, it started to fly against the Magnetite Ray toward Grimm's form of a three meter tall bone armored little giant, closing in on the distance between them.

"It changed into another one?"

Grimm had already expected that the Evil Blood Dreadlord's clone could easily defeat his Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant. What he did not expect was the fact that the Evil Blood Dreadlord did not choose to attack the Level-3 ancient Magnetite Star Warrior before him instead, it suppressed the Magnetite Star Warrior and sent another one of his clones in pursuit of Grimm.

Well then...

Under Grimm's precise control, the ice and infernal elemental energy on the two goat horns on top of the Sabbatic Goat Staff slowly converged to become a dark energy ball.

"Fire blast!"

Grimm abruptly waved his Sabbatic Goat Staff behind him. A ray of dark red light flashed by as it was easily dodged by the ancient creature in pursuit.

Boom!

Behind the ancient creature, sparks of fire broke out in the sky.

Vroom! Vroom!

Grimm dodged while escaping the Level-3 ancient creature's attacks back and forth. Yet the distance between them started to narrow. Without a second thought, Grimm squeezed himself into a hole that was fuming with strong Magnetite Ray.

Crack!

Like three long snakes sharing the same body, the ancient creature landed on the crack of the hole as the disgusting poisonous horned skull that was covered in yellow liquid came out.

"You can't run now, little sorcerer!"

The skull said as it reached into the hole.

The ancient creature was stunned for a moment by the dark ominous red light in the hole. After that, the creature's gaze was set upon the Cat's Eye Stone that was as beautiful as a bloody eye.

This was the Claw of Hell—a Cat's Eye Stone that Grimm had fused together by using five hundred Blood of the Tainted Eye in the Sorcerers World!

A hundred Blood of the Tainted Eye along with the aid of Seraph's Echo had once influenced a Level-3 Acraepoid in the Infernal Spirit World. Although the main reason for the influence was due to the person being willing to fall into the semi-real, semi-illusive world of Mount Serpentine, the Claw of Hell's Cat's Eye Stone's power could be seen from this incident as well.

"The Claw of Hell!"

Grimm activated the Claw of Hell's Cat's Eye Stone.

Nearly in an instant, the Cat's Eye Stone in Grimm's hand vanished. It was as if an illusive door that connected Mount Serpentine and the Magnetite World had been opened on the ancient creature's body. It was also as if an alluring attraction like the sea serpent's shell was pulling the ancient creature into Mount Serpentine.

In mere moments, the ancient creature that had just inserted his skull started to grow unconscious.

"Hah!"

The three meter tall little giant yelled as he held the Sabbatic Goat Staff and struck one of the tentacles of the ancient creature. Yet the tentacle merely vibrated as its gooey skin nullified the high density waves of the Sabbatic Goat Staff.

A physical attack in reality seemed to have awakened the ancient creature as it shook its skull under the illusion.

"What ability is this, you evil Sorcerer!"

The semi-real, semi-illusive body of his had made the ancient creature fear him. The fear of falling into an unknown world without being in control could make even a Level-3 creature feel powerless.

"It's no use, weak Sorcerer, my sole enemy is the Magnetite Star Warrior. A war in this world should not be intervened by such a weak being like you!"

Lowly growling, layers of black liquid were emitting from the Level-3 ancient creature's body as it struggled in its semi-real, semi-illusive state.

"Fire blast!"

Boom!

The Sabbatic Goat Staff had lost its magic energy and half of its attributes. The support for attribute attacks had also been reduced.

Grimm, whose magic powers had weakened, gasped for air as he looked at the struggling, strong ancient creature that had not sustained the damage he had imagined it would. In between his heavy breaths, his body vanished.

Even if this kind of Level-3 creature that had evolved passively were to not return any of his attacks, the thickness of its skin would make it difficult for Grimm to kill it.
