A Sorcerer's Journey 401 A Visi

Thirty years had gone by.
The continuous booming sounds had become the only melody in Grimm's lab which was located in the Demon-Hunter Castle, the only time the sounds would cease would be the time when Grimm had to record his experiment notes or complete his work on the third phase of the Mask of Truth, which was also named as Project Eagle Eye.
One day, Grimm suddenly received a call from Master Peranos via his crystal ball, as he took out the crystal ball, Master Peranos' face appeared, and he looked old, fierce and horrifying.
"Grimm, we have arrived at the Tree of Life at the Holy Tower of Seven Rings, what are your Demon-Hunter Castle coordinates?"
Vivian was standing behind Master Peranos looking very excited, her expression was similar to Grimm's when he first left the six major academies of the twelfth sector while being led by Master Peranos.
"Third Senior, I have already become a Reserve Demon-Hunter Sorcerer and I am able to enter the Holy Tower of Seven Rings."
Reserve Demon-Hunter Sorcerers were sorcerer-apprentices who had gone through the Holy Tower qualification battle.
The top achievers among them would qualify as Apex Sorcerer-Apprentices and were allowed to head directly to the World's Core and receive aid from the World-Core Fragments to further advance as an official sorcerer, while the remaining sorcerer-apprentices who were also highly talented would receive certain internal aid from the Holy Tower for them to qualify as official sorcerers; however, it was not a guarantee for them.
Kyrie, similar to Grimm, who also had the Boundary of Relative Space ability, had never advanced as an official sorcerer after entering the Holy Tower of Seven rings, and Grimm had never felt his presence ever again.
"Eh? The qualification battle has already ended? That was fast."
Grimm was only halfway through his list of experiments on more than thirty thousand fundamental matter materials, although his understanding towards the materials had spiked tremendously; however, there was no progress in identifying the material for Destructive Force.
His experiment notes were densely filled with red crosses that indicated negative results.
Thirty years had passed since Grimm left Black Isotta and returned to the Demon-Hunter Castle, but Grimm felt as if all these had just happened yesterday.
However, for Vivian, it was already a small fraction from half of her lifetime, and things that had happened throughout all those years had turned her into a mature person.
Now that she had slowly adapted to the rules of being a sorcerer-apprentice, the sudden realization of the greater world beyond the six major academies was shocking for her.
Within that thirty years, Vivian had also gotten herself a nickname, the Death Ray, and it was similar to Grimm's nickname during his time as a sorcerer-apprentice, the Ashen Mask.
Grimm smiled at Vivian with his handsome looking face, and he looked at Master Peranos while giving him his Demon-Hunter Castle coordinates.

After turning off the crystal ball, Grimm shouted in the direction of the second floor.
"Myna, stop sleeping, help me with the preparation to welcome the master!"

After half an hourglass, Master Peranos and Vivian landed in front of the Demon-Hunter Castle.
"Third Senior."
Vivian alighted from a Wind Bird while her light wings were still flapping continuously.
"Hmm, congratulations on your advancement as a Reserve Demon-Hunter Sorcerer."
Grimm said to Vivian then turned towards Master Peranos and greeted him.
"Master, what are the results of the Holy Tower qualification battle at the Black Isotta Sorcerer Academy?"
Master Peranos handed over forty sorcerer essences to Grimm and replied calmly, "Among the sorcerer-apprentices that you have led fifty-five years ago, the four sons from Ukudale have qualified, and these is your reward for leading them in the past. As for the performance of the academy, it was not too bad; unfortunately, the title of the Apex Sorcerer-Apprentice was taken by a guy from the eleventh sector."
Grimm nodded and put away the sorcerer essences while he welcomed both of them into his Demon-Hunter Castle.
Master Peranos and Vivian were both amazed by the 'Destructive Force Gauges' that were being placed in the center hall, and Vivian was mind-blown by the gauges that were fifteen meters high.
"Third Senior, what is this? Is this your experiment equipment?"
Vivian turned around and asked.
Myna landed on Vivian's shoulder and pointed towards the gauge and replied on behalf of Grimm, "Hahahaha, it is an experiment tool that was invented by Grimm, you will only understand the wisdom that lies behind it once you have become an official sorcerer, hahaha."
Master Peranos walked around Grimm's Demon-Hunter Castle and frowned while saying, "Are you alone? Without any servants?"
Grimm looked embarrassed.
After returning from the Black Isotta, the initial plan was to recruit a Legendary Knight or purchase an Intelligent Mechanical Marionette to take care of the daily chores.
However, he was too focused on the experiments and too busy to even spare time to take care of other things.
It did not affect Grimm too much, however, Myna had to join Millie for meals every day.
Grimm chortled and tried to cover up his embarrassment, "I'm used to being alone."
"Hahahaha…"
Master Peranos smiled and said, "Oh Grimm, after all these years, you are still as hardworking as you have always been. However, remember to enjoy yourself when you have the chance, after all, sorcerers are still human beings. Look at me, when I first saw my wife during those days, I knew that I had to have her as my wife and bring her back home, and it was all because of her cooking skills…"
After saying so, Master Peranos lay down on the sofa while sipping the tea that was prepared by Grimm.
"Alright, bring Vivian around the place, she will not complete her visit in the Holy Tower of Seven Rings if she does not advance as an official sorcerer."
Master Peranos waved his hand indicating to Grimm that he should not worry about him.
"What are you talking about, with her wisdom and sharp mind, Vivian will definitely be able to advance as an official sorcerer."
Grimm laughed and paused for a while to gather his thoughts, then said to Vivian, "Let's go, let me bring you to visit my World Lab."
World Lab?
Vivian eyes widened in anticipation and followed Grimm to the top floor of the Demon-Hunter Castle.

Myna quipped while he perched on Vivian's shoulder. They were standing on top of the Demon-Hunter Altar, and Vivian who was shocked by what she had heard asked Grimm, "A seal?"
Sealing skills were too mysterious for sorcerer-apprentices, and only Apex Sorcerer-Apprentices were able to get to know the surface of it.
Grimm shook his head and laughed.
Those were the Spirits of the Rain Dew Flower that lived in the World Lab by relying on the Golden Breedsnot Tree.
After a moment of magical turbulence and time-space twisting, Grimm appeared within the aperture of the World Lab, while Vivian who was standing beside him felt a bit dizzy.
"Ah! The demon sorcerer, who had snatched all of the holy fruits from the holy tree and caused the deaths of the adults, the great tribe of the Spirit of the Raindew Flower will defend the holy tree this time, until the very last one standing!"
"Too bad, the Holy Seal is not even half completed…"
"Oh no, the demon sorcerer has even brought his evil henchman and we cannot go against him, is this the end of the Raindew Flower World?"
Boom…
An elemental turbulence occurred and the spirits of the Raindew Flower fainted, Grimm then led Vivian who was still in shock over to the two untouched Golden Breedsnot Trees, he went around the trees and plucked a Golden Breedsnot that was still crying and passed it over to Vivian.
"Senior, what is this fruit called?"
Vivian held on to the fruit with both hands and asked curiously, as if it was an adorable little kid.
"It is called the Golden Breedsnot, there are three Golden Breedsnot Trees that were transplanted from the Black Isotta Realm."
After hearing Grimm's reply, Vivian seemed to recall her experience in the Black Isotta Realm, while comparing to Grimm's achievement of transplanting three giant trees…
"Oh."
Crunch!
Vivian then started enjoying the crunchy Golden Breedsnot Fruit, the cries of the fruit stopped as soon as Vivian began munching on the juicy fruit.
"Eh?"
A crystal lab on the World Lab had caught Vivian's attention, it was filled with metals that were covered with mosses.
Grimm let out a laugh and said, "This is a specimen that I randomly encountered from the Exotic Space of the Narrow World, it is rare and exotic."
While explaining, Grimm stopped Vivian from moving forward.
"Be careful, that is a mushroom that can cause hallucination, I found it during my sorcerer-apprentice time in the Vicious Thorn Forest."
"Ah!"
Vivian was taken aback and flapped her light wings to fly away from the ground that was filled with mushrooms, she then pointed towards the soil structure that looked like a chimney that stood high up behind the three giant Golden Breedsnot Trees asking, "What is that?"
Grimm turned towards the direction she was pointing to.
"It is a specimen of an insect that I had found from the Shadow World, it is a Camphrogate Worm that is capable of reinforcing flesh walls of burrows and roam within the walls, and that is the entrance of the burrow."
After a tour around Grimm's lab, Vivian was amazed by everything and wished to stay longer, after returning to the Demon-Hunter Castle, she took another round of tour around Grimm's book archive room, it was also an impressively resourceful archive that Grimm had collected.
"Senior, I wish to have a World Lab that is similar to yours."
Vivian felt hopeful towards the future as she spoke.
Grimm let out a laugh and replied, "You will have yours once you have advanced as an official sorceress and become a Demon-Huntress ."
