A Sorcerer's Journey 572 Heavy Attacks

A few Level-1 Demon-Hunters were shocked as they saw the Evil Blood's clones that were blasting toward the Grand Peak Magnetite Star.

Little Myna did not realize what was happening on the other side, however, Grimm was stunned as he looked toward the direction.

At the end of the day, ranking would determine the difference in terms of transformation of capabilities.

For Sorcerers who had control of the situation, this would be a big opportunity to loot Sorcerer rewards; however, for Sorcerers who had less capabilities, it would be an unknown battle that might cost them their lives and they had to be extra cautious.

Grimm was also once one of them, and it was because of Little Myna and a few lucky incidents that he was able to escape from death and become one that had survived those threatening eliminations.

Only those who were elite among the Demon-Hunters would survive these threats, and without a doubt, Grimm had witnessed it throughout his past few Demon-Hunting Expeditions.

Now that Grimm had become one of those who had control of the situation in a Demon-Hunting Expedition, his capabilities had tremendously increased along with his concrete base of faith, and he was no longer the weak Demon-Hunter that could be blinded by anything that came for him.

Several Demon-Hunters were extremely excited to see Grimm, a Level-2 Demon-Hunter who had a Rank-1 Honor Badge.

Grimm knew what they were thinking, similar to what he was doing a few years back, he could only take care of low level Bloodprint Creatures while constantly identifying high level Sorcerers in the surroundings, as he would need to seek for help from the high level Sorcerers if he were to encounter any Evil Blood's clones.

Now that Grimm had enhanced his mental strength from advancing to a Level-2 Sorcerer, as well as multiplied his attacking power by mastering the Destructive Force, he had transformed completely.

Suddenly, as the young looking Sorcerer that seemed to have little Demon-Hunting experience nodded at Grimm, a Demon-Huntress that was a few meters away raised her hand and striked through his Sorcerer Barrier within a split second, her palm went through the chest of the young looking Sorcerer and blood gushed out from the chest of the Demon-Hunter along with a loud booming sound.

The expression of the Level-1 newcomer who greeted Grimm with a welcoming smile was frozen still as he looked at the palm that was protruding from his chest, which then slowly dissolved into twisted Blood Shadows that were rapidly moving.

"The Evil Blood's clone, spread out!"

An old Sorceress that had more experience in Demon-Hunting Expeditions realized that something bad was about to happen and raised her magic staff that was releasing shining lights from the top of the staff, while a mysteriously sealed curse was unsealed from her neck and black breath that was intensely cold was released from her body.

"Black Penetrating Shatterer!"

The lights on top of the magic staff temporarily concentrated to its maximum point, and a loud growl from the old Sorceress initiated Dark Elemental Energy light ray to blast out from it.

Run!

Being the one who had the most battle experience, the old Sorceress did not even wait for the outcome and immediately escaped toward the closest location to Grimm as soon as she casted the sorcery.

"Humm…"

The humming sound from the horn of the Void Fortress was activated on time, and it seemed that besides the Evil Blood's clone that had appeared before Grimm, there were others that had intruded into the inner fortress.

"Master, save me!"

Dark Elements were swirling at the foot of the old Sorceress as she looked at Grimm and begged for help.

"Ahh…"

On the other hand, the attack from the old Sorceress was obviously not a deadly attack for the Evil Blood's clone, as the moaning sound from other injured Demon-Hunters could still be heard amid the waves of released energy.

Along with the sound from the fortress horn, several Level-3 Great Sorcerers flew out from the Central Fortress of the lower Sorcerer Tower and headed toward all directions from within the fortress, and one of them headed toward Grimm's direction.

However, he was a little too late.

A thunder strike flashed below Grimm's feet as he teleported and appeared before the old Sorceress who was shocked and had her sight set on him, the top of Grimm's Sabbatic Goat Staff drew in light from all direction, and it continued to release high density vibrating waves forward, creating an unstoppable force combined with thunder and wind that formed distortion along its way.

Was this!?

Both the old Sorceress and the Level-3 Great Sorcerer that was rushing toward Grimm's direction, were shocked. The great Sorcerer, with his yellow-colored eyes under his half-covered purple mask, also witnessed the release of his power.

There were also three other Level-1 Demon-Hunters beside the Evil Blood's clone.

One of them was a petite Sorceress that had fair skin with a few Rattan Hands that grew out from her body, while despair could be seen from her desperate expression as she was right beside one of the clones of the Evil Blood Dreadlord.

The Rattan Hands were easily defeated and the meaningless defences were torn apart by the Evil Blood's clone as if it was a wild beast that had destroyed her thin outfit, while the spiteful and twisted bloody hand penetrated the Sorceress's chest.

Ding!

A golden defence barrier was formed by a golden necklace that was raised from her sorcerer robe, and it floated above her chest.

However, a clicking sound was heard when the bloody hands easily penetrated the barrier and continued to move toward the Sorceress that was in a dire situation with her peach-coloured lips wide open.

Was she about to die?

'No, this is only my second Demon-Hunting Expedition, my Sorcerer journey has just begun, my Icicle Heart Seed cultivation has been improving, only another seventy five Sorcerer Essences required to get myself a Flower Sky Turnip seedling, everything about the future seemed to be hopeful and I look forward to it…'

'I do not want to die, no!'

All of a sudden, a refracted ray of light shone through from behind and extended toward the Evil Blood's clone, while it was surrounded by swirling black shadows, a greyish-white mask with spiral stripes appeared above its head, and a twisted black hole was channelled from the top of the Sabbatic Goat Staff, as if it was about to devour everything in the surroundings.

Boom!

It was within the next moment, the Sorceress and two other Demon-Hunters felt as if there was a gale that swept through their bodies and blew them away as they tumbled and landed onto the metal deck that was tens of meters away.

The Sorceress was in disbelief and ignored her exhausted body, she immediately looked toward Grimm with tears of joy.

A wrinkled metal ditch area of more than ten meters was formed on the upper deck of the Void Fortress as the Sabbatic Goat Staff had destroyed every piece of metal in the Void Fortress that came in contact with it, forming a rounded pit that was about two meters in depth.

The pit was empty and perfectly smooth, and it seemed that all the pieces of metal had evaporated into thin air.

"We are saved…"

A "swoosh" sound was heard as the Level-3 Great Sorcerer who wore a half-covered mask landed beside Grimm, shocked and amazed by the destructive impact from the hit of a Level-2 Sorcerer, "This is great, we can eliminate it together, as it will not survive your attacks!"

The body of the Evil Blood's clone that was tens of meters ahead on the metal deck had shrunk a little, however, the hit from Grimm was not deadly enough to kill it completely.

It had undoubtedly surpassed the maximum peak of a Level-3 creature!

Despite being hit by Grimm's concentrated Destructive Force of more than 4,500 degrees, and attacked by the intense energy vibration combined with auxiliary energy, it was still able to survive the destructive output.

"Hmm."

Grimm nodded and the Destructive Force was activated again on the Sabbatic Goat Staff. Although the black flame seemed like the light on a candle, it had drawn in and refracted every source of light that was within the radius of hundreds of meters with Grimm as the centre point.

The mighty power was indeed phenomenal.

The Level-3 Great Sorcerer who stood beside Grimm could not resist peeking at the top of the Sabbatic Goat Staff that was gathering the mysterious flame.

What type of Elemental Energy was this?

No, with this horrifying wave, it must be a qualitatively changed energy!

This Elite Demon-Hunter deserved the Rank-1 Honor Badge, and with his presence, even a Level-3 Sorcerer would also be ranked as a supplementary attacker!

A purple Elemental Wave appeared around the Level-3 Great Sorcerer along with a mysterious infrequent magnetic wave in the surroundings, while the great Sorcerer shouted as he raised his magic staff that was topped with shining green and blue coloured gemstones, "I will create an opportunity for your attack, the attacking power from your sorcery is enough, the only thing is that the Feel Time is a little slow."

According to the sorcerer knowledge, one second could be divided into eighteen parts, and most of the normal low level creatures would only feel some parts of the divided time for every second that had passed.

As time went on, the world would change within the one-eighteenth second that had passed, and low level creatures would have a certain image in their minds, while passive imagination would continue to fill in the remaining seventeen divided parts that were left undiscovered.

In reality, there might be unbelievable things that could happen within the remaining seventeen divided parts.

The truth seemed to be hidden from the low level creatures that were unable to sense nor explore the divided parts, it was as if it was playing a game of hide and seek with the low level creatures.

As Elemental Sorcerers would go through life form changes, Level-2 Sorcerers would be able to experience one-eighteenth second of Feel Time, Level-3 Sorcerers would be able to experience one-sixth second of Half-Step Time, while Stigmata Sorcerers would be able to experience the entire True Time.

Meanwhile, passive evolving creatures would only experience little changes that would solely depend on the improvement of their body constitution.

By using the Evil Blood's clones as an example, they would be able to experience five or seven out of the eighteen divided Half-Step time.

A short moment later, Grimm waved his Sabbatic Goat Staff for the fourth time and the Evil Blood's clone was totally annihilated.

"Caw caw caw, Master, these is the remuneration given by them for saving their lives."

Little Myna was holding on to a big piece of Sorcerer Essence that consisted about forty units, it was from the old Sorceress, the Sorceress, and the other two newcomer Demon-Hunters that Grimm had saved.

"Thank you, Master."

Both the old Sorceress and the Sorceress thanked Grimm as they looked at him.

While the remaining two Demon-Hunters expressed their gratitude toward the Level-3 Great Sorcerer who came later.
