A Sorcerer's Journey 353 Six Stigmata Sorcerers!

In the temporary laboratory of Grimm, on the huge laboratory table.
A huge magical array, made up of glowing magical runes of different colors emanated an ominous air of the occult code of life and death.
It was the "enigmatic energy reversed digestive system carcass refinery array" that took Grimm a century to complete.
On top of the carcass refinery array, pieces of living flesh were intertwined, squirming as they wrap around each other. Each of their sensory nerves was enveloped in a string of magical runes.
The magical runes were floating above the sensory nerves. It was quite a sight.
At the center of the carcass refinery array was a Heart of Vitality that was beating unceasingly.
The intertwined and squirming sensory nerves were taking on the beating heart as their core. They carefully injected their nerves into it. A chimera that looked like an Amonro began to take shape in the center of the carcass refinery array.
Grimm observed for a while. Beneath the Mask of Truth, he was frowning.
"Caw, Master, is there something wrong with this chimera carcass refinery?"
The myna was also looking at the carcass refinery curiously as it perched on top of Grimm's shoulder. The sharp myna could sense something wrong with Grimm's emotion.
"Something's not right for sure. There's some problem with the "reversed energy digestive system". But if it were an experiment, it would be passable."
As he was talking, Grimm took out an enigmatic stone from the dimensional gap and walked toward another lab table.
He placed the enigmatic stone into a device and carefully ground it down to a fine dust. He then put a small amount of it into his jar that he had been cultivating the living flesh in.
He stirred the concoction cautiously before pouring a few drops of nutritional fluid on top of the Heart of Vitality.
Grimm sighed. "Hopefully this would make up for some of the errors, but this chimera's enigmatic seal could only be completed in the lab now and not out on the field."
There was a little error in Grimm's enigmatic energy reversed digestive system carcass refinery array. It pulled down the chimera's enigmatic sealing powers greatly.
According to his estimates, Grimm could only finish up the chimera's enigmatic seals in the laboratory.
Myna didn't mind it at all and said excitedly, "Caw caw caw, sure there are some errors, but overall it was a success! Master, we should celebrate this properly!"
Myna's celebration naturally meant that a feast was in order.
Grimm glared at the Myna. "You go celebrate on your own, I am going to cultivate the Natural Elemental Soul now. This chimera will take shape in a month."
Cultivating the Natural Elemental Soul was similar to how a sorcerer would cultivate his own Soul Slave. They were the sorcerers' means of trapping the soul.
The natural elemental soul was the key to controlling the chimera through sorcery.
A month later.
As he replaced the magical stones on the carcass refinery array for one last time, the living flesh on top of the lab table had completely taken up the Heart of Vitality as its core seamlessly. Grimm's second phase chimera was finally done!

It had the basic features of an Amonro but without the long tails. There was a patch of long, white fur that covered its body. The fur was a distinct feature of a creature from the Burrow World. The chimera seemed to have been influenced by the natural laws of the Burrow World.
Grimm ordered the chimera to come down the lab table.
The chimera was a meter in height and two meters in length. It looked like an Amonro, or a pig from the Sorcerer World.

Vitality: 134~248.
Abilities: Lesser Enigmatic Seal, Shadowmeld, Resistance against frost damage less than a hundred points, fire elemental attack.
Grimm was a little disappointed. He mumbled, "We'll call you Enigma #1 then."
The chimera could no longer be of much help to Grimm. It was no wonder that Grimm became disappointed in it, so much so that he didn't even bother to give it a proper name.
After some thought, Grimm decided to test out the exact ability of its enigmatic energy reversed digestive system.
He walked to a laboratory table and took out a Wolfspider that had just hatched.
The Wolfspider was seven centimeters in length. Its body was still semi-transparent. The spider was the second generation that had been bred by Grimm in the lab, not an original specimen from the burrow.
After grinding down a few enigmatic stones into powder, and adding them into the magical ink, Grimm drew up a simple supportive magical array and placed the hatchling Wolfspider in the center of the magical array.
Grimm turned toward Enigma #1. "Use the enigmatic seal on this Wolfspider."
A surge of enigmatic energy gushed out from the mouth of Enigma #1. With the help of the supportive magical array, the hatchling spider that was originally at seven centimeters long gradually shrank into two centimeters, then one, and finally, it turned into a tiny dot.
Enigmatic #1 then swallowed the dot-sized Wolfspider.
Grimm shrugged. Just sealing a tiny creature, even with the help of a supportive magical seal, took so much effort. Grimm was really disappointed in the performance of the chimera.
No longer interested in Enigma #1, Grimm began compiling the errors and weaknesses of the "enigmatic reversed digestive system carcass refinery array" in a note.

Three days later.
"Caw? There's a Thought Echo going on here!"
The Myna squeaked curiously. Although Enigma #1's Thought Echo was so weak to the point that it was insignificant, it was actually present. Enigma #1 really had the ability to use the Thought Echo!
Grimm let out a sigh of relief and chuckled. "It's only consumed a hatchling Wolfspider. If it continues on to seal the same creature over and over again, the chimera would evolve in the direction of the power that it gets after digesting the enigmatic energy that it had sealed enigmatically."
As he thought about this, Grimm began to feel more relaxed.
Even though the chimera experiment wasn't a complete success, it was able to prove that evolving a chimera using the enigmatic energy reversed digestive system was feasible.
"Caw caw, master, why don't you put Enigma #1 under my care for you, what do you think?"
The Myna was buttering Grimm up again.
Grimm didn't really care much about Enigma #1, but there was some research value in it. He coldly dismissed the myna's notion. "We'll talk about it later."
Grimm once again walked toward the lab table and continued to inspect his enigmatic energy reversed digestive system carcass refinery array for any errors.

Twenty-two years later.
"Master Grimm, the great master passed a message to me. He's asking you to go to the void fortress right this moment!" The Thousand-eyed Carcinus called from outside the temporary laboratory.
Hmm?
Black Isotta?
Grimm's expression became stern. He dared not delay and packed up everything in the laboratory within half an hourglass. There was a slight anxiety beneath his Mask of Truth. So, Black Isotta is going to give him the special assignment?
What could a Level-6 Grand Stigmata Sorcerer's special assignment entail?
Grimm stood on top of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus, bringing the myna along with him as they rushed to the void fortress.
At the void fortress, crowds of demon-hunting sorcerers were standing and discussing, as if something big had happened.
Swoosh! Swoosh Swoosh!
Three Level-3 Demon-hunting Sorcerers flew toward the Thousand-eyed Carcinus at breakneck speed. One of the sorcerers wore a black mask. He called out to Grimm, "Demon-hunting Sorcerer Grimm, follow us."
He obviously knew who Grimm was, and he'd been asked by Black Isotta to greet him.
Grimm took a deep breath secretly.
The commotion, as well as the pressure and tension was boiling at the void fortress. It seemed like Black Isotta was going to hand him a mission that was beyond his wildest imagination.
Grimm followed the three Demon-hunting Sorcerers across the busy fortress square.
In the middle of the square, the magical clouds on top of the lower sorcerer's tower were spiralling rapidly. There must be some huge magical energy ripples that elicited such a huge reaction.
As Grimm was sensitive toward spatial ripples, he could easily sense that the square had been blasted by a huge wide-range spatial ripples. It was very unusual.
Grimm entered the base of the void fortress under the guidance of the three Level-3 Demon-hunting Sorcerers.
"Master, I feel something is off." The Myna whispered at Grimm's ears.
Duh…
Grimm ignored the Myna. After going through layers and layers of defensive positions, not less than ten rays of red lights scanned across Grimm thoroughly. They were apparently trying to verify Grimm's identity.
Buzz…
"Confirmed identity of human sorcerer of the sorcerer's world."
After the announcement from the mechanical voice, the Level-3 Demon-hunting Sorcerer that wore a black mask nodded at Grimm. He was scrutinizing Grimm beneath his mask as he pointed toward a huge metallic door across.
"Go now, the great Black Isotta is waiting for you inside."
All those introductions made Grimm nervous. But he nodded without showing any fear in him. He clutched his Sabbatic Goat Staff and walked toward the huge metal door.
Clank!
The metallic door opened up by itself. In the well-lit great hall, Grimm saw at once Black Isotta that was sitting high up in the Elemental Throne. The spaces around him were crumbling endlessly.
As Grimm was about to bow in the sorcerer's manner, he noticed something was off.
After quickly surveying the great hall beneath his Mask of Truth, Grimm's body trembled instinctively. His face grew pale.
"Six, six...six Stigmata Sorcerers!"
At the high chairs within the great hall, there were six Stigmata Sorcerers who were above Grimm's level of a real sorcerer sitting quietly. All eyes were on Grimm as he made his entrance in the great hall.
