On top of the fortress, the war horn bellowed once again. It was the seventh horn that Grimm had heard since the beginning of this expedition.
But this time, the horn sounded deeper, longer, and more terrifying.
It was as if the horn was not an accompaniment to the Demon-Hunter Sorcerers' war cries, but a death song for the Acraepoids.
"Compared to the Dark Destroyer Kingdom, the numbers of Acraepoid army here are insignificant."

"Caw caw caw, for the Ancient Sorcerers, worlds ruled by humanoids such as this one are highly favourable because they contain a wealth of humanoid slaves! They've slain most of them though, what a pity."
Little Myna sighed.
Claudia was now able to follow alongside Black Isotta as an elite Demon-Hunter Sorcerer because Grimm had given her his special attention through his Sorcerer's Will.
Black Isotta had a purpose, which was to study the ancient sealing knowledge beneath the Darkglow Kingdom. He would also rescue the King of Snowthreads's Will, which had been sealed.
Naturally, the four missions pertaining to the rescue of the Snowthreads's Will had not been completed.
Although the Darkglow Capital, which had the weakest defense among the kingdoms, had been ravaged by the four Stigmata Sorcerers, there was still no news about the completion of the Rank-2 Honor Badge missions from any of the Demon-Hunters.
Since the Void Fortress had already descended upon the skies of the Darkglow Capital, it was only natural that the Stigmata Sorcerer himself completed the Rank-2 mission.

But their roles were reversed. Grimm was a member of the powerful Sorcerer's Will.
The Sorcerer's Will was high and mighty now. The words made Grimm feel good. They felt so natural and full of pride.
Grimm's pride came from the Ancient Sorcerers, who had also experienced catastrophes and turmoils in the past. Yet, the Sorcerer's Civilization had transformed time and time again. They had not only stubbornly survived, they had also thrived and became stronger!
Although they were defeated by the Abyss Civilization and had escaped to the foreign world cluster, they were still a powerful world that ruled by inducing fear. They had not given up yet. They were still powerful.
They were proud of their ancestors and their historical background. This pride was the sorcerer's belief.
This belief of the sorcerers had supported endless modern sorcerers in their quest for the Sorcerers World's past glory, in their pursuit of the world coordinate that had been embedded in their deepest memories. They were intent on waging a new war against the Abyss Civilization and clearing their humiliating defeat in the past to prove themselves again!
Therefore, it could be said that the sorcerers shared the same belief system. They had concocted their own legends.
It was like a flag that rallied millions of Bright, Dark, Arcane, Mechanical, Anatomy Refinery, and even Black sorcerers.
The sorcerers knew early on the use of a belief system, and more so the terrible consequences once a belief had been shattered by an alien civilization.
Therefore, the sorcerers would never deify a living sorcerer. But they would create legendary stories out of the vagueness of history that could not be clearly traced back. They would even turn this belief into a culture, an ideal.
The Dark Destroyer Infernal God?
No, in the end, it was not the obscure, unknown, all-powerful god in the texts.
It was just a powerful Acraepoid, that was all.
The Acraepoids did not worship a god. It was just a person. They were merely idolizing his persona.
People would fully submit themselves to a cult of personality. They would also abandon their beliefs, and even be disgusted with, or condemn their religion.
Now, in the skies of the Darkglow Capital.
The menacing taunts of Bone Bell Stigmata Sorcerer had caused uneasiness among the ranks of the Acraepoid legion. Their hearts were filled with fear, yet the World Lord that was hidden among them did not dare to make a stand.
It was so belittling, so whimsical.
The pair of green flaming eyes beneath Bone Bell Stigmata Sorcerer's robes were burning profusely. He casually waved his skeletal arm and said, "Destroy everything here!"
"Roar…"
Within moments of his statement, tens of millions of soul slaves howled ferociously and charged from the six Void Fortresses under the command of the Sorcerer's Will.
Closely following them were voidships and Bright Demon-Hunter legions that were lined up in a neat formation. They marched toward the Acraepoid armies and proceeded to slaughter them.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The occult pulverizer of the six Void Fortresses opened fire. The two-hundred-over-meters-wide scarlet light columns shone upon the grounds from different angles, creating empty spaces in the Darkglow Capital.
The Acraepoids and Flame Burrows that stood in the way of the light columns were gasified as they vanished into thin air.
Tens of thousands of Dark Sorcerers dashed from the sky in balls of flames. There were trails of flames behind them; marking a great chorus to the symphony of death.
"So beautiful!"
Claudia could not help but mumble to herself. Her eyes were lost to the epic scenery of blood and fire that was unfolding in front of their eyes.
From the eyes of a Dark Sorcerer, it was a beautiful sight.
Even Grimm's pair of ice and flame eyes beneath his Mask of Truth were lost in the moment.
An air of superiority was created unconsciously.
Rumble, rumble…
The clash between the Stigmata Sorcerers, and the Infernal World Lords and Guardians, produced shockwaves that knocked out a huge group of soul slaves and Acraepoid Warriors.
Everything seemed so familiar. History was merely repeating itself.
