White Online Chapter 64

The Forest of Unknown was eerily quiet, except in one part of the forest where two figures were desperately trying to run away.

''Marksman...'' Darth took sneak glances towards the individual who seemed to be holding a very similar weapon like certain someone.

''It must be Uncommon Flintlock Pistol! He shot two times, and he must be waiting for the reload!'' Isaac shouted while running in the dark forests.

''Shouldn't we attack then?!'' Darth asked and started slowing down.

But then Isaac's shout came, ''No! He still has his Common Flintlock Pistol. Even though it can't damage much, it will still lower our HP enough to be able to one-shot us with Uncommon!''

''Damn!'' Darth grimaced and accelerated his speed.

The unknown Marksman in trees was chasing them with ease. His agility surprised both of them.

Isaac narrowed his eyes and scanned the individual's body, his face was still obscure, but he noticed one thing that made him grow a smile.

He didn't have pouches on his waists.

''Darth, leave! I will handle this!'' Isaac said with a small smile, eyes showing his excitement.

''Are you crazy?! What if you die!'' Darth shouted, but then he saw Isaac's eyes which showed his unlimited confidence.

He sighed, ''Don't die...'' After those words, he ran in the opposite direction.

Isaac smiled and looked towards the Marksman, who looked confused but decided to chase after him.

Out of nowhere, Isaac stopped running and aimed the Flintlock Pistol towards one of the tree branches, which was empty.

The Marksman widened his eyes, but he was already midair, about to land on the tree branch.

*BANG*

Isaac pressed the trigger, and the bullet left like a cannon. The barrel started smoking, which could barely be seen in the dark forest.

But the sparks coming from the bullet were easy to notice, and Isaac clearly saw the bullet piercing through the Marksman's leg!

''Payback...'' Isaac murmured and quickly hid behind the tree.

''Tsk.'' The Marksman clicked his tongue and tried to look around the forest but didn't see Isaac anywhere.

Isaac was breathing slowly. He used his ears to find out if the Marksman was changing positions. He knows where the Marksman is, while he doesn't know where he is.

He has the advantage!

*Clank*

The Marksman started reloading the gun, and Isaac heard it.

He has remembered the sound perfectly, and he knows that he has only put 1 bullet on the chamber so far!

Isaac left his hiding spot and instantly fired towards the tree where Marksman was.

*BANG*

The Marksman flinched after the loud sound, and he dropped the bullet he was holding. He quickly jumped backwards and landed on the tree branch.

Isaac's bullet hit the tree and got stuck inside.

He looked anxiously around the forest, but Isaac was nowhere to be seen.

Isaac had 0 bullets left, he still has his Common Flintlock Pistol, but he is waiting for the reload.

The Marksman had only 1 bullet in the chamber. He didn't dare to put the second one, even though he had more than enough time. This is his first proper fight, usually he kills everyone in long-range.

He should have known that Isaac is currently reloading, but he is too nervous to think straight, while Isaac's mind is calm as the sea.

Soon, Isaac reloaded the Flintlock Pistol.

The Marksman flinched and wondered what the sound was. He thought it was another gun firing sound, but it didn't sound even remotely close. His nervousness is painfully apparent.

His hand trembled, and he debated whether he should retreat. His party members warned him to not attack anyone because it could lead to a Guild War, but he saw two very easy kills and decided to go for it.

He still doesn't understand how they managed to evade the bullets.

*Bam*

''Eeek!'' He cried out and looked at the item that dropped next to him on the branch.

It was... A small rock.

''Eh?'' He looked confused, but then a terrifying sound came.

*BANG*

An incredibly fast projectile pierced through his head.

''Eh...'' He stumbled backward and started falling down to the ground, but in the midair, he started turning into pixels.

Before he touched the ground, he was completely gone, leaving only a pair of Flintlock Pistols behind.

Isaac left his hiding spot and put the two Flintlock Pistols on his Inventory.

''It worked...'' Isaac murmured with a calm smile. He took a rock from his pouch and threw it towards the Marksman. He didn't plan to hit him, only planned to distract him.

That gave him enough time to make a finishing shot.

''Is this what Darth was talking about...'' He moved his arms around. So far, his body movement always seemed similar to real life, but now that his Strength has increased... He can clearly feel that there is some kind of restriction that is restraining his strength.

''Weird... I don't think it was supposed to work like this...'' Isaac frowned. He feels like it is weird for the stiff movement to appear if the player is getting stronger.

But, apparently, Level 1 players are already complaining about the movement being very different with Bronze VR Helmet, but now Isaac had it... But in Level 21.
