Chapter 362 Battle Against Silver Death (2)

"Hehe…" A chuckle escaped King Michael's mouth as he kept defending against the barrage of the attacks.

King Jonathan's arms moved mesmerizingly as his sword brushed past King Michael's robust body. But, for some reason, none of his attacks were hitting the mark.

Then, he changed his grip and sent a horizontal slash from point-blank range. King Michael reacted by placing his sword in the way of the blade.

The two swords collided, and both of them seemed to be of equal strength at first glance. King Jonathan rooted his feet to the ground and pushed his sword forth.

King Michael did the same and effortlessly managed to stop King Jonathan's advancement. They locked their eyes, and both of them thought about several follow-up attacks.

Surrounding them was the endless horde of players. They kept dying left and right, but not even one attacked the King-like figures.

Then, King Michael's eyes shone that began spreading to the environment. That pure white color got sucked inside the blade that started to glow in the same color but with greater intensity.

King Jonathan squinted his eyes and could barely keep his eyes open.

"So far…" King Michael opened his mouth, "I haven't seen anyone using Paladin class to its fullest capability. They don't understand the Holy Stat."

King Jonathan listened closely, and a terrible feeling began sprouting inside his heart.

"But… I know." King Michael's grin spread from ear to ear as the color white began pushing King Jonathan's sword away!

King Jonathan tried to fight against it, but it didn't take long for his sword's grayish color to be replaced by a whitish hue.

'What is this?' He looked at his sword and felt the weight increasing exponentially!

His muscles bulged with blood vessels protruding. He gritted his teeth and tried to raise the sword, but it was like lifting a mountain!

"Heh, that's not all…" Then, King Michael moved his sword away, making the whitish hue disappear from King Jonathan's sword. He sighed in relief after feeling the weight had returned to normal.

However, he saw King Michael doing a large swing with the whole blade glowing in pure white.

King Jonathan widened his eyes in shock. Then, he took out his shield from the inventory and placed it in front of him.

"Hahahaha!" King Michael's happy laughter echoed throughout the battlefield. Then, he finally finished his swing and a small ray of sword beam left from the blade's tip!

King Jonathan's muscles bulged as he prepared for the impact. Then, the sword beam collided with the sturdy-looking shield.

"Arghhh!" The impact was much more powerful than King Jonathan anticipated and got pushed back by a giant leap. However, the sword beam disappeared after the collision.

"Hehehe, I can't let you die so easily." King Michael said while bolting toward King Jonathan. Then out of nowhere, several arrows flew across the air, straight toward him!

Queen Diana held her bow close to her chest with her beautiful hair floating around her. She jumped across the sky and landed next to King Jonathan.

"Bothersome as always." King Michael said while swinging the sword around him.

"Says you!" Queen Diana scoffed and pulled out a pink-colored arrow from her quiver. Then, she placed it on the bowstring and pulled it before releasing it.

King Michael stepped to the side and saw the pink arrow hitting his nearby subordinate, who began acting strange. At first, his pupils became pairs of hearts with cheeks dyed in pink.

His breathing became rough. Then, he slowly turned around and lovingly looked at Queen Diana.

"Attack!" Queen Diana ordered.

His gaze went from her to King Michael. Instantly, his face became enraged, and he rushed forth with a sword raised above.

"Hmph." King Michael scoffed and slashed with his sword. The blade effortlessly cut through his subordinate's body, who died without being able to blink even once.

"You cannot defeat me." He said while turning around to look at them, "But you can try."

King Jonathan and Queen Diana locked gazes. They nodded and rushed forth with their weapons ready.

While their battle was raging. The rest of the battlefield was shrouded in a thick mist of death.

"Ahhh!" A young man around 17s knelt on the ground with both of his arms missing. Then, a man with silver armor slammed his axe down. It effortlessly cut through the young man's body, who turned pixels shortly afterward.

After the axe-wielding man killed the young man. He turned around just in time to see an arrow flying straight toward his face. However, he tilted his head to the side and sent the axe flying toward the Archer.

The Archer paled and got struck by the axe that sliced straight through his face. After he died, the axe-wielding man came to fetch his axe, who continued his endless rampage.

No one seemed to be able to stop him. Soon, he saw a strange sight. At some distance away, there were several dead silver-armored men.

He frowned and began sniffing the air. With his hunter senses, he could smell the thick scent of blood, but there was also something else.

"What is this..?" The axe-wielding man stopped moving and was soon surrounded by ten pale-looking Knights. He looked around and didn't care about the Golden Crown members.

The Golden Crown members communicated with their eyes and soon nodded. They stepped forth and slashed with their swords!

The axe-wielding man bent his knees and jumped over the encirclement. While airborne, he slashed with his axe and decapitated the Knights effortlessly.

After landing on the ground, the same weird sensation sprouted inside his mind. His brows scrunched up. It was like his hunter's instincts were going on overdrive.

"The Hunter in me… Want's me to hunt someone… But, who?" The axe-wielding man at first thought it was King Jonathan. But, he had already met him once on the battlefield and didn't get any kind of reaction.

"Who is it… My prey…"
