Chapter 376 Unexpected Opponent.

After Isaac stepped inside the Colosseum. There was the beautiful gladiator waiting for him, ready to take him to his VIP room. Once he was taken there, she bid farewells, and Isaac got seated on the comfy couch.

The holographic screen appeared out of nowhere.

"Oh, there is the private match?" That made Isaac curious. He would rather fight privately because that allows him to hide his skills even a little bit.

"Join…" After pressing it, a loading screen appeared. Isaac leaned on the backrest and waited until the game found him a suitable opponent.

Soon, a suitable opponent was found for him.

Everything around Isaac became blurry as his body was teleported to another place. After everything became clear again, he was standing in the middle of an open room.

The walls were in color black, and the floor was pale white. On the opposite side of the room, his opponent with Swordsman class was standing with a cold look painted on his face.

There wasn't any flicker of emotion on his face; instead pure ruthlessness.

Zirfier didn't wait as he lunged forward. The sword swooshed around him, and a sharp whistling sound resounded throughout the room.

Isaac pulled out his gun and was about to fire. But then, Zirfier began running in weird zig-zag movements. There was a shallow chance of actually hitting the mark if Isaac fired.

After Zirfier seemed to be close enough, he sent a calm, yet deadly strike at Isaac's torso. However, Isaac managed to deflect it away with the blunt side of his gun.

Then, he spun the gun around and sent a thrust forward.

Zirfier blocked the thrust with his sword's blade, however, then, Isaac pulled the trigger, and the bullet pushed the sword away alongside Zirfier's entire body.

He wobbled back, almost falling down to the floor. However, managed to stay standing, even though barely.

'What is that fighting style?' Zirfier thought to himself with furrowed brows. The way the white-haired youth fought didn't make any sense.

Then, he activated his first skill.

[Charge Used!]

He charged forward with the sword placed in front of him.

"Ptui!" Out of nowhere, Isaac spat out a ball of saliva that soon froze once landing on the ground. The floor in front of Zirfier froze over, and he accidentally stepped on it, which caused him to fall over!

Thud!

He crashed to the ground and became pale-faced instantly.

Bang!

Zirfier gritted his teeth and rolled out of the way. A bullet destroyed the thin layer of the ice.

He managed to escape barely. He stood up, and his sword began to emit a weird glow.

Zirfier's red eyes were locked on Isaac's body, and with a rageful slash, he did his second skill.ρaꪁⅆa ꪁꪫꪚⅇ​ꪶ​

[Cut of Room!]

The floor was split in half, and soon the walls were divided. Isaac managed to dodge it barely, and then he saw the room recovering with speed visible to the eye.

He quickly spun the gun around and sent another bullet toward Zirfier, who deflected it with the blunt side of the blade. Then, he lunged forward and slashed down.

Isaac moved the gun in a sideways motion and deflected the sword. However, then, Zirfier pulled out another sword from his inventory and stabbed it forward.

The battle seemed to conclude. There didn't seem to be any way to dodge the deadly strike. However, then, Isaac's eyes showed a star pattern.

He disappeared and appeared on the ceiling. Then, he spun around and sent a flurry of bullets.

Zirfier's eyes shook, and he turned to look at the sound of a loud voice. Then, the bullets flew through his forehead, face, torso, and neck.

With disbelief filling his face, he faceplanted to the ground and died. However, since it was impossible to die in Colosseum, he was teleported to the resting room.

"Haaahh…" Isaac threw his gun back into his inventory and staggered toward the illusionary wheel. It was called The Wheel of Winner. It was slightly different from the other one.

This wheel gave worse prizes because private matches lacked a lot of difficulties that public matches had. Especially the nervous aspect of it.

Isaac spun the wheel around, and it soon stopped in the color of white.

He shook his head with disappointment and was soon teleported to his VIP room.

Without stopping even for a moment, he joined another private match. That continued for an hour until he had five victories under his belt with no losses.

He was already top 180 in rankings and managed to increase his level by one.

That was already a great achievement, but Isaac wasn't done. He joined another private match, and this time, it kept loading for ten minutes until a potential opponent was found.

After the name popped up, Isaac's eyes shook.

Without being able to react, he was already teleported to the room. On the opposite side of the room, Tobi appeared with a bow in his hand and a grin.

"I heard that famous Wraith was participating in private matches… Lucky me." He let out a laugh and then said, "No worries… I won't use potions. I want this fight to be fair!"

Isaac's eyebrow twitched, "I don't mind if you use potions."

"But, I do." Tobi pulled out several arrows and placed them on the bowstring, "I want this victory to be something I can be proud of."

Isaac sighed and took out his sniper rifle. They waited as the countdown reached zero.

[Battle… Begins!]

The bullet and arrow collided in the air, and both were smashed into smithereens.

"Haai!" Tobi jumped across the air and sent several arrows. Their colors varied from a green color to brown.

Isaac weaved through the arrows and jumped toward Tobi. Their eyes locked, and both of them used their first skills.
