Crack!

The ceiling collapsed, sending a rain of debris straight toward Dark Isaac. He, however, didn't seem to be fazed. He grinned and leaped across the air.

CRASH!

The debris crashed to the ground. A large sand cloud emerged from broken rubble.

Dark Isaac landed on the ground. He looked relaxed with his chest out. His dark, demonic eyes locked with Isaac's grayish eyes.

He showed a close-lipped smile, ''Like I said. So predictable.''

Isaac's eyebrows creased. The area around them was soon shrouded by the thick sand cloud.

Dark Isaac's robes cracked and fluttered alongside the wind. Neither one of them could see each other clearly. The clear line of sight disappeared.

Bam!

Then, a bullet covered in a cube of ice traveled across the sand cloud, freezing the grains of sand and dust.

Isaac narrowed his eyes. Then, he saw the freezing bullet flying straight toward him!

'He has the same skills as I have!' He soon recognized the bullet as the Icy Shot ability.

''Haahh…'' A puff of cold air exited Dark Isaac's lungs. His weapon let out cold air before the darkness swallowed them.

His dark eyes followed the icy bullet. He wanted to know how would his inferior self survive this ordeal.

Isaac took a quick step forward. He moved his hands behind his back and strapped the Mosin-Nagant into his back. He connected the two strap pieces and heard the sound clank behind him.

Once, the Mosin-Nagant was adequately strapped. Isaac whispered, ''Interface…''

The light bluish holographic screen emerged out of thin air. The icy bullet was getting closer and closer. However, Isaac wasn't in a hurry.

The icy bullet was way slower than an ordinary bullet. That was the advantage he had against Dark Isaac. He knew every ability and movement he would do. He also learned how to counter-attack his skills.

Isaac pulled a pouch filled with bullets from the Inventory. He lifted his arm and moved his arm in a whip-like way, like someone throwing a baseball.

The pouch left his clenched hand, flew across the air, and once the bag began to descend. It interjected the icy bullet's trajectory and collided with it!

The pouch instantly froze in the ice cubicle. However, the icy bullet also disappeared.

Isaac jumped across the icy floor and reeled in his fist.

Dark Isaac lifted his chin with a crazed smirk, ''Hahaha, is that all?!''

He swung the gun around and screamed, ''RAAAH!''

Bam!

''HAAA!'' Isaac's veins protruded, and his uvula shook as he screamed his heart out. His hand covered in a fingerless glove was clenched into a fist. The fist began to move forth toward the upcoming weapon!

Then, the fist and the weapon collided. Isaac instantly felt the endless coldness the dark weapon was emitting. The tips of his fingers became ice-cold, and he thought his fingers would fall off.

''Hahaha!'' Dark Isaac kept laughing even while his arms shook. He seemed to be having the time of his life. The dark veins protruded, and his knees started gradually bending down.

[ ] However, he was still laughing even though he was slowly losing the battle.

Then, Isaac's kick landed on Dark Isaac's knee, causing him to finally fall down on his knees.

''Oh!'' Dark Isaac's face didn't show any signs of his panic. His arms shook as Isaac unleashed another punch and struck the weapon. Even though the gun was pushed backward, Dark Isaac had no intention of giving up.

'What the hell is wrong with him?!' Isaac's arm froze. He stepped back and stopped attacking.

Dark Isaac lowered the gun slowly. His hair was messy, and some kind of black goo dripped down from the strands of his hair. The black fluid, of some sort, stained his face in a dirty smudge.

''Hahahahaha…'' His laugher echoed in the cavern. Even seeping through the cracks of the ceiling and reaching the outside world. The Players who heard the laughter felt frightened at first.

However, when they get closer to the source of the laughter. They saw themselves standing in the middle of the open clearing. The laughter was supposed to come from the spot where they were standing.

The laughter was so clear that they thought one of them was laughing. Their faces paled, and they started backing out slowly.

Because of their turbulent mind and the fear creeping into their bones slowly, they failed to notice the cracks in the ground.

It was relatively easy to see two figures facing each other from the cracks.

Isaac was about to unstrap his gun. However, his hands froze as he heard the crazy laughter sounding more lonely.

''Hah… Hah… Hah…'' Dark Isaac's skin started melting away slowly. Underneath, the decaying skull became visible. He let go of the grip and allowed the gun to leave his grasp.

Once the gun landed on the ground. The darkness shrouding the weapon began seeping through the thin cracks of the platform. The weapon's previous appearance returned slowly.

The darkness had vanished into the cracks, and the weapon, that resembled the Mosin-Nagant Sniper Rifle reappeared.

'This was never supposed to be a fight…' Isaac figured that out after trading punches with the weapon. If he would fight against Dark Isaac, it would never end.

They knew each other perfectly. Each move, technique, skill, and even the way one thinks.

''Grah… Argh!'' Dark Isaac grabbed his temples and vomited a black goo. Once the black fluid touched the ground, it melted the ground, made a large hole, and seeped through.

''Fuck…'' He pulled a napkin from his pocket. His fatigued eyes gazed at the napkin for several seconds. The napkin was already stained in a black smudge, and it was far from clean.

However, he didn't care and wiped the stains from his lips. Then, he pocketed the napkin and lifted his head to look at Isaac's towering figure.

Isaac stopped in front of him and dropped his gaze to see Dark Isaac's eyes.

Dark Isaac's face suddenly looked enraged, ''You…''

Isaac perked up his ears and could see his fingers digging deep into his wrinkly skin. Then, when the blood started dropping down, the color wasn't what it was supposed to be.

Black blood trailed down his palm.

''You were never supposed to go that forest.'' Dark Isaac's hollow eyes showed endless darkness, ''It's your fault that… I will die!''
