White Online Chapter 131: Long

Oliver and Isaac reached the door, but they didn't leave the house; instead, they looked at each other without a word.

''What is it?'' Oliver asked, without even hiding the hate in his tone.

''Can't I talk with my best friend, who I haven't seen for a long time?'' Isaac asked and acted like he was hurt, ''You didn't even visit me in hospital; I know you must be busy and all that, but is it really that hard to visit me even for 10 minutes?''

Oliver snorted and shrugged, ''I was busy, school stuff and all that.''

''Hmm, indeed, weird that you didn't have time to visit me on holidays, school stuff again?'' Isaac asked with obvious sarcasm.

''I was on vacation with my parents.'' Oliver shrugged with obvious mocking, '' Also, Amanda was quite sad during that time, so I spent time with her. Is it really so bad to comfort my friend? Are you that selfish?'' He crossed his arms and shook his head with disappointment.

Isaac chuckled and nodded, ''That's right, did she ask you to comfort her? Or were you simply that desperate to finally have a chance to be alone with her?''

''I don't know what you are talking about.'' Oliver smirked and put the shoes on, ''I think we became closer during that time... So, your incident wasn't all bad.''

He put his hand on his hair and smirked with a disgusting look, ''Maybe if a similar incident would happen, Amanda and I might get married, hahaha, just joking.'' He patted Isaac's shoulder with blatant mocking.

Isaac slapped the hand away and said, ''You should keep your mouth shut.''

''Or what?'' Oliver said mockingly and pushed Isaac backward, which almost made him fall down.

*Smack!*

Isaac's solid fist contacted with Oliver's cheek, which made him stumble backward with a red cheek.

''Y-You bastard!'' Oliver screamed and rubbed his painful cheek; with anger, he stomped towards Isaac and grabbed him from his collar, and slammed him at the nearby wall.

''Ugh!'' Isaac groaned in pain after his back collided with the wall at an awkward angle.

Oliver leaned his head closer to Isaac's and whispered with venom, ''You should have stayed in the hospital.''

''Heh...'' Isaac gave a strained chuckle as he tried to remove Oliver's hand but was unsuccessful, ''You have never been smart...''

''Hmm, what do you mean?'' Oliver asked with a frown but then heard the kitchen door opening.

''Oliver, what are you doing?!'' He turned his head in shock and saw Amanda shouting with anger on her beautiful face.

Amy and Anthony also left the kitchen and saw the scene of Oliver holding Isaac from his collar, while his face had apparent signs of being in pain.

''Hands off him!'' Anthony shouted and rushed towards Oliver.

''T-This is a misunderstanding!'' Oliver let go of Isaac's collar and stumbled backward, but then Anthony's hand grabbed his throat and slammed him on the door.

''UGH!'' Oliver groaned in pain as he tried to remove the incredibly strong hand, but it was to no avail; his face turned purple as he couldn't receive any oxygen.

Anthony opened the door and threw Oliver out of the house.

His body landed on the snowy ground, making his clothing wet and his face dirtied.

''I-I can explain!'' Oliver turned his dirtied face around and saw Anthony's angry face, but he ignored it and looked towards Amanda with despair, ''Amanda, please! W-We have known each other since we were kids!''

Amanda looked conflicted; she rubbed her arm and saw Isaac standing up with the help of Amy.

''Get lost!'' Anthony screamed and closed the door with a slam.

''Are you alright?'' Amy asked with worry.

Isaac sighed and nodded, ''Yes, apologies for intruding; it was a mistake.'' He grabbed his jacket and put it on.

''P-Please, don't go yet...'' Amanda grabbed his sleeve and pleaded.

Amy grabbed Anthony's hand and dragged him away, so two youths could have a long-awaited talk.

Isaac put on his boots while Amanda still tried to open her mouth, but no words came.

''I know it wasn't your fault.'' Isaac suddenly said and tied the shoelaces.

''E-Eh? W-What do you mean?'' Amanda asked with a nervous heartbeat.

''About my incident... I blamed you for a long time, but now I know that it wasn't your fault.'' He stood up and looked Amanda right in the eye, ''I am really sorry for my idiotic behavior.''

Amanda looked surprised, but soon a thrilled smile appeared on her face, ''R-Really?!''

Isaac nodded and put his hand on the doorhandle, ''I hope we can be friends again.''

''Friends...'' Amanda murmured, but soon a firm look appeared in her eyes. She had dreamed of this moment a long time ago, and she will tell her feelings once and for all!

''Isaac... I l-l-lov—'' She stuttered her words, and soon, Isaac opened his mouth to interrupt her words.

''I can't accept,'' Isaac said with a heavy look as he slowly opened the door.

''E-Eh, b-but...'' Amanda looked shocked and sad as she tried to show just how heavy her feelings truly were.

''I have spent endless hours alone, with only my thoughts as my company...'' Isaac tapped the metallic door handle and opened the door wide open and put one leg outside the house, ''I thought about you... A lot...''

Amanda lowered her head as she knew where this was going.

''You were my first love.'' Isaac suddenly said, which caused Amanda to raise her head again with a shocked look.

''Yeah...'' He chuckled awkwardly and continued, ''I think it was during my first year in High School... I loved your gentle nature, and I always felt jealous of you talking with Oliver and his friends...''

''B-But, not anymore?'' Amanda asked with a sad look.

Isaac looked at her and said, ''Human feelings are very unexpected, one day, you might find yourself wanting something so desperately, and the next day, it might not matter anymore.''

''D-Did you come here to say all that...'' Amanda asked with eyes brimming with tears.

''No...'' Isaac entered the house one last time and hugged Amanda's mature-like body with her white hair that closely resembled his, reaching all the way to her buttocks, ''I think... You are my only friend left in real life... You were the only one who visited me in the hospital, apart from Damien, of course.''

Amanda widened her eyes in shock as the tears still kept trickling down her face, ''N-No one? W-Why? N-Not even Oliver? H-He told me that he visited you...''

''Doesn't matter... It will be revealed soon.'' Isaac stopped hugging her and wiped her tears while pinching her soft cheeks, ''Crybaby... Always crying, even after happy endings in the movies.''

''Hmph...'' Amanda pouted and gave a slight giggle as she wiped the rest of the tearstains, ''And you wonder why I loved you... Always ready to comfort me like this... Dummy.''

Isaac chuckled and let go of her cheeks; he put his hand forwards and said, ''Friends? I am sorry that we couldn't be more... But I missed your company.''

Amanda gave a slight smile as she grabbed his hand, ''I missed you too... It has been boring and dull without you.'' She gave a strained chuckle, but her face still showed some relief and slight pain.

Isaac wryly smiled and felt hurt to see Amanda's pained face and even thought a few times of just accepting her confession.

He quickly shook his head and saw a plastic bag on the floor. He curiously picked up and looked at the interior of the bag; he saw a DVD, bag of candies, and stuff that was specially bought for Amanda.

Isaac recognized the movie as Amanda's favorite, as well the bag of candies.

Amanda looked at the bag and said, ''Oliver must have forgotten about it.''

Isaac nodded and took the DVD from the bag, ''Hmm, are you up for a movie night?'' He showed the DVD, which earned a smile from Amanda.

''Don't you hate horror movies?'' She asked with a smug smile.

Isaac chuckled and shook his head, ''Not anymore.... After all, I experienced a horror movie.''
