Chapter 19.1 - The second gift

Inside the Leaning Wind Pavilion, two figures stood upright and handsome. One was coldly handsome, the other roguishly handsome.

The cold faced man was about twenty, wearing an ink coloured brocade robe that only accentuated how cold he was. His eyes were deep and coldly flashed.

The other was a bit more sloppy, only sixteen and wearing an extravagant reddish purple brocade robe. This accentuated how roguish he looked and flirty.

These two were at the street stalls when they heard that there was some good drama going on at the Lou residence.

One was second prince Xiahou Rui and the other seventh prince Xiahou Liuyun.

Xiahou Liuyun was obviously still hoping for more drama, his long eyes kept glancing towards the direction that Lou Qingwu left in.

He really should’ve let empress-mother come to see too! Then she could witness for herself how the most virtuous, generous and gentle girl in her heart really was actually just a vicious, poisonous shrew!

“Let’s go.” Second prince Xiahou Rui’s deep eyes only lightly swept over everything before turning around before only leaving an impressive silhouette.

Originally, he had been strong armed into coming over by his seventh brother, so he didn’t expect to see such an interesting affair.

That Lou Qingwu, definitely wasn’t simple.

“We’re leaving now?” Xiahou Liuyun stuck the fan in hand into the collar on the back of his neck, reluctantly glancing at Lou Qingwu’s rooms once more then glancing at his family’s second brother’s cold and callous silhouette.

Gloomily, he followed his brother, he wanted more drama!

Her left hand stretched into the cloth bundle to reveal an open fragrance furnace.

She placed it well and lifted the fragrance furnace open. The lid was inlaid with delicate markings imitating peacock feathers.

Then her fingers twirled around a piece of incense stick and alighted it.

Not long after, the furnace emitted smoke rising up in spirals.

The fragrance only started to float upwards before Lou Qingwu lifted up her hand lazily to swipe at it.

The smoke dissipated in all four directions, its strong scent entering her nose.

At this time, a figure soundlessly appeared behind her, respectfully calling out, “Eldest miss.”

“They left?” Lou Qingwu didn’t turn around, she only closed her eyes as if she was concentrating on the fragrance furnace’s smell.

“Do you know who the two are?”
