Chapter 183.2 - Something happened at the family banquet

Imagination was good but reality was harsh.

Lou Qingwu didn’t mind, she was just here to watch the drama.

As long as it didn’t block her view, it was all okay.

Lou Qingwu sat next to Chi Mei’er and when she saw Lou Qingwu sit down, her eyes were smiling.

It seems like Ruan Zhen had told her of her plans beforehand.

The family banquet progressed peacefully until the end, when tea was presented.

A maidservant who was pouring tea for Ruan Zhen, suddenly shook and spilled all of the tea on Ruan Zhen.

Ruan Zhen suddenly jumped in fright, jumping backwards and accidentally onto Chi Mei’er.

The steaming hot tea hit the back of her palm as she instinctively struck backwards, the jade bangle on her arm cracked and slashed Chi Mei’er’s hand.

A gash appeared on Chi Mei’er’s hand as a single drop of blood rolled down.
