The Tragedy Of Nārphiḍiyā - Part 1

Tsuyoi POV

I grabbed my diary and started writting.

"Today was a good day! The fishing was better than expected. Thanks to that i can buy my daughter a decent dinner, and no only just fish. She'll be so happy with me!"

I letted the diary on the furniture, if my daughter see it...i think i'll die of shame.

I'm already in front of her-

"Wait, wait, wait."

"I can't wait anymore!"

What? What it's happening? Why is there a male voice? I entered on panic. What if he hurts her?! I have to do something.

I grabbed an axe and walked to the door.

"Tsuyoi, what are you doing?"

It's my sister Amelia.

"Nothing..."

I started to get even more nervous. She started walking to the door too, i don't want to make things worse for her...she's already sick enough, i...don't want her to suffer even more...

"Oh? I didn't know Speranţă had a boyfriend."

She stared at the axe.

"Calm down Tsuyoi, let's make dinner for him too."

She always's been so peaceful with everyone. When she got sick, half the town comed to our house to give us their condolences.

"She's too young to have a boyfriend..."

"She's 16, this is perfectly normal, and, you have to told her about the principal things."

"What things?"

"You know what i mean."

"But...They-"

"Ah! Ahh!"

An awkward silent fulled the hallway. I started to squeeze the axe, that bastard is stealing Speranţă innocense. Amelia grabbed my arm.

"Let's go downstairs."

I followed her. I think i'm gonna have nightmares with this...

"Come, help me attend the last people."

I dropped the axe and followed her.

Down the house we had a little tavern, it was nothing compared to the others taverns, but at least it's the more clean and peaceful one.

I walked to the bar, i can't keep thinking about what i just heared, i can't focus, i can't focus!!

"Hey Tsu, are you alright?"

"Uh, yes, i was just thinking..."

"Oh...Well, you should stop thinking about that, it feeles like you are going to kill me with your eyes."

"Sorry."

-Sigh.-

People started to leave, i looked to the clock it's, 1 A.M. I haven't saw a young boy leave, if he's still on her room then i-

"Let's go get some rest, you look tired."

"No more than you."

"Ahahaha! Pretty funny, let's go."

I closed the door and turned off the lights. Today was a long day...I really should get some sleep, when i closed my eyes i feeled like i was already sleeping...

"Careful. I don't want to wake him up."

"I know, i know."

Uh...? What time it is?

I grabbed my pocket watch, it's 4 A.M. I just keeped sleeping, it was probably my imagination...

-Footsteps-

It was defenetly not my imagination. After coming back from the work, i letted the axe on my room, so i grabbed it.

I opened the door with anger. Speranţă and the boy stared at me with fear. I feeled someone grabbing me.

"Tsuyoi, stop!"

"Let go of me-"

-Crack!-

A ant from my size? I should still dreaming. The ant was staring at Speranţă, i won't let him get her!! I runned into him, because of how loud my footsteps were he turned around to me, before he could react i buried the axe on his head, i have to report this to the hunters.

The miserable keeped moving, i remembered that the brain of the ants are little, but still, how he-

-Crack-

The ant pushed me to the wall, i feeled like flying.

"Squeerk!!!"

The ant flied to me.

"Argh!"

Amelia grabbed the axe and runned to him, she aimed exactly to his heart. When his body failed to the ground it feeled like if the floor could fall on any moment.

I standed up.

"Come, we have to advice the hunters."

"Bu-But they are at the Capital!"

"What?"

Why they are at the Capital?!

"There's as to be at least 1! We are going anyway!"

"Wait, Tsu! We don't know what's out there!"

I walked out from the cavern...Outside...It was like if the god of death opened the door of hell and let us saw what was inside.

There are at least 7 body mid eateds, i falled on my knees and started to vomit. Why? Why this is happening? This-This as to be a dream! On the group of the persons there was a kid, he can't over pass the 10 years...I heared a sound similar to the mosquito but more loud. I think my eardrums will explode.

I looked up, the sky was completely red, i could barely see another colour-

"AHHH!"

Persons started to fall. I got freezed. An ant stared directly at my eyes, i could just see a hord of ants flying to me, my heart was gonna explode.

"Father!!"

"Tsu!"

I heared how my family tried to get me inside of the cavern, but, it's already too late, they already got me.

I wish i could have done more for them...I'm sorry.
