Stay Quiet

Father realesed mother from his arms, he turned around...And started watching me directly to my eyes.

"Hey Kwrator, why don't we play a little game?"

I looked at my mother corpse...i wanted to run but if i do, father was going to kill me.

"What kind of game?"

I asked.

"If someone ask about mommy you don't have to say a word, otherwise you lose."

"Okay..."

Father told me to go to sleep more earlier than habitual. From my window i could see him dragging the corpse of mother into a hole. I stayed on silence while i keeped staring at him.

Next morning everything seemed to be normal, father did breakfast and maked like
anything that happen yesterday actually never happen. In all the morning i didn't say a
word, i feared that i could say something from yesterday...if he killed mother like nothing
he could perfectly kill me too.

"Kwrator we runned out of carrots, could you please go to the market?"

I answered him with a nod, father gived me a smile.

When i opened the door a woman and a man were waiting, they were dressed with
white clothes, behind them were white hourses too...

"Kwrator?"

"Yes-"

Before i could end answering to the man, my father grabbed me from the shoulders and
answered for me.

"Yes, misters, what can i do for you?"

"Please sir Mikeneel, could we have a talk with you?

"Of course! Please misters could you move aside my son was just about to leave to the mar-

"If you don't mind, sir, could Kwrator stay?"

Father stared at me, like complaining to himself for not asked me before.

"Yeah, why not...?"

Father opened more the door so the priests could enter, the man sitted and the woman
comed to me.

"Hey little Kwrator, could you show me your room so we can talk there?"

I noded her and walked to my room, but i actually wanted to stay since i wanted to hear
what that man was going to tell to my father.

"Oh! so this is your room, it looks a lot like mine!"

The woman stared at me with a smile.

"My name is Svetlyy, now since we know each other."

We don't.

"You may be wondering why some priests comed to your house out of nowhere, right?"

I do.

"Well, since a friend of yours was worried for your mother, he comed to the Temple for
help, and well, here we are! Well, now, i have a question for you."

Please don't...

"Do you...know where is your mother? Do you think you father could have done something to her?"

"I..can't lose..."

"What did you say, Kwrator?"

Svetlyy got more closer to me, i got scared, i couldn't hold it anymore.

"Sh-she's outside..."

"Outside? Could you please be more specific, Kwrator."

"Father killed her! He buried her! She's buried in front of my window! I saw him!"

Tears comed out from my eyes, i screwed it, i condemned my own father!

"It's okay Kwrator, sometimes confess hurts, but you did the right thing."

I feel tired...

I woked up in a bed a with withe bed sheets, I'm not at home. I looked at my left, there was a blond guy looking at me, he tried to hide but i can perfectly see him.

"Uh-uhm...good morning!"

"Morning."

"M-my name is Senwşi, what is yours?"

"My name is Kwrator."

"Then, morning Kwrator! Father Opiekun said that you had to go to his office."

"Alright...could you take me there?"

"Yes! It'll be a pleasure, you know Kwrator i like you hair it's so white like your skin!"

"Thank you..."

Senwşi talked a lot before leaving to that person room, and talked even a lot more on
our way there.

"You better told me what Father Opiekun told you!"

He leaved waving me, i returned the wave...what happened to me? I normally don't
talk this much with strangers...

I opened the door and saw a man with white dress, he turned around and smiled, it was
the same man that was in the house.

"Hello there Kwrator, did you sleep properly? Svetlyy said that you fainted, are you
feeling well? Oh sorry! You just woke up, yet here i am, fulling you with questions, my
apologies. Oh, and you can call me Father Opiekun, alright?"

I noded him.

"Good, now you may be wondering where you are, right?"

I noded him again.

"Well, you are at the Temple, here you can push your limits, it may really benefit you on the future. Oops, i skiped a part, well let's do it short okay? You are going to stay here until you grow up, or you can stay here, it's your choice."

Father Opiekuin gived me another smile.

So this is my new home?...

"Come on Kwrator, don't be upset. Since you sleep alone back at your home, i'll let you choice, if you can have a solitary room, or you can stay with Senwşi."

"I want to be alone..."

"Alright! Sometimes being alone is a good thing. Okay, so now, please follow me, i'll walk you to your new room."

Father Opiekun started walking, i followed him, and i remembered something.

"Father Opiekun, where is my father?"

Father Opiekun stopped walking and turned around.

"Look Kwrator, your father did something terrible that all the gods forbid. And he had to
pay for what he did to your mother, you should be thankfully that we arrived on time,
otherwise you could have ended like your mother."

Father Opiekuin petted my hair and keeped walking, i stayed on silence.

When we arrived to my new room, Father Opiekun whispered me something:

"If you need anything, you can ask me and if i'm not at the temple you can ask for Svetlyy, and she'll get it to you."

"Anything?"

"Yes, anything."
