"The heck? Isn't that a bit too much? That 'Big' of a pig just tripled the price!" Torin complained as he looked at Ryu and Zach who were both just sitting there quietly. Mr. Big had justified the price increase by claiming that it was a very crucial time to get the goods that they required and the value of those goods had risen because they were in high demand.

Torin couldn't believe that Ryu had agreed to it without batting an eye. "Money is nothing for me, I want that Old Man Skull to burn in hell," said Ryu.

"We will soon get hold of all of his dealings," Zach commented as he instructed Dumbo to drive the van out of Mr. Big's hideout. 

Inside the van, Torin elbowed Zach as he whispered, "Bro, I believe we don't have any action planned for tomorrow, right? Can you approve my request for a day off?" Zach answered him with a simple nod and Torin almost jumped out of happiness.

"Sorry… Carry on with the silence, guys," he murmured when the other members of their team silenced him with their eyes, including Ryu and Zach. Torin scratched his head. He should just drive next time so he could sit in front with Snake aka Lieutenant Jiang, since the back of the van was just too quiet as the grave.

Zach sighed as he was sulking, thinking about Keira, whom he had been missing badly. He was thinking to drop by and see her as soon as an opportunity arose. But for now, together with Ryu, he would be very busy meeting a few other groups which are connected with Mr. Big, and Ryu's nemesis, Old Man Skull.

Lyra cooked her dinner and sat down at the dining table to eat her food. She sighed as she would be eating alone again, because Keira was still at her office, working late. "Hmm, it's nice that she keeps herself busy with work while big Bro is gone. She has less time to miss him and sulk in loneliness." Lyra murmured as she ate her dinner.

She looked so sullen and sighed several times. She somehow missed Torin's bullying. 

"How come he did not even return once? Even big Bro came back twice to meet Keira. Why can't he even make one trip just to see me once, at least!?" she continued talking loudly to herself. Torin's last words about him liking her kept striking at her heart every night.

She had so many questions that she wanted to ask him. She also regretted feigning fainting that night instead of clearing things up with him, just as Keira said. She would definitely not let the opportunity slip away from her hands the next time she would see him again.

If her deduction was right, the two of them had mutual feelings for each other. She suddenly recalled how often she would be pissed whenever she found out that Torin had a new girlfriend or was wooing some other girl.

The latest one that she heard was that he had set his eye on Lana, one of Keira's friends whom she met when Keira treated them to dinner, to celebrate her wedding with big Bro Zach. 

Lana was beautiful, but during their small talks that night, Lyra could sense her animosity towards men, and it was obvious that she was not at all interested in getting involved in a romantic relationship with Torin.

"Ahhh…" she sighed in satisfaction after she gulped down some of the beer. She grinned as she prepared some snacks because she felt like it was her own house and hers alone. She finally settled on the sofa in the living room as she enjoyed her snacks and drinks while watching television. 

She liked the new TV drama that was airing right now. It starred the new actress Arya Tan, who seemed to have a natural talent in acting as she portrayed her role very well. She could be compared with Brione, the Superstar, although Brione was more of a triple threat, as she was not only good at acting, but also at dancing and singing.

She opened another can of beer as she laughed and cried from the TV show that she was watching. She finally got bored and did not notice how much she had drank, and she gradually dozed off on the sofa.

Torin was whistling as he opened the door of his unit. 'Finally, home sweet home.' he thought as he excitedly went inside. He creased his forehead when he heard the sound of the television from the living room. It was already so late, so how come Lyra was still watching television?

"What's this?" he gasped when he saw cans of beer scattered on the table and on the carpet on the floor. His eyes fell to Lyra with his eyebrows almost met and face scrunched in confusion. Lyra was lying down on the sofa, dressed only in her shorts and a very thin and loose spaghetti strap blouse.

Torin subconsciously swallowed his own saliva as he exhaled loudly and shook his head to brush off the corrupt thoughts that surfaced in his mind at the sight before him. 'Damn, another torture' he mused as he walked towards Lyra so he could bring her to her room.

He sat beside her to pick up the empty cans of beer from the floor. He was about to stand up to carry her to her room when she suddenly moved and opened her eyes. 

"You're back!" Lyra exclaimed in excitement as she pounced on him and wrapped her arms around him. Torin almost lost air because Lyra just sat on his lap as she hugged him tightly.

He could smell her fragrance combined with alcohol. "Why did you come back only now? I've been waiting for your return," Lyra whispered behind his ear.

If this continued for too long he would soon be burnt alive. So he quickly moved and tried to gently push her away from his lap as he whispered, "Lyra move away from my lap and let me go… I can't breathe."

But instead of moving away, Lyra faced him with her blushing cheeks, which came from the alcohol, as Torin presumed. She grinned and cupped his face as she whispered, "Why are you asking me to move away? I thought you liked me?"

Torin was still dumbfounded from Lyra's blunt words when her gaze landed on his lips. With his mouth slightly agape, Torin was about to say something but what Lyra did next surprised him.

"I missed these lips…" Lyra murmured before she leaned over and kissed him...
