The General Who Hates Me 127 Do You Bite?

She actually did not know what she should buy except for her personal things.

So she was very happy when Zach picked her up to buy everything together.

During these few days, they developed a habit of always walking hand in hand during all the time they were outside.

"There's a grocery store here, just in a walking distance," Zach said.

Keira smiled. She wouldn't even mind walking for long, as long as she's with Zach and their hands tightly clasped together.

Inside the grocery store, Zach pulled the cart.

"Make sure you buy healthy food like this…" said Zach as he went to meat, fish, and vegetable section.

Keira's jaw dropped as she commented, "But I don't know how to cook those?"

She would rather eat than try to cook at her state now. She would not want to eat her own cooking too.

Zach laughed and pinched Keira's nose. "Ah, you look gorgeous with any expression. Why is that?" Zach said in a complementing manner that made Keira flush.

'Here he goes again!' she mused, as she felt her heart melt.

"Hmm, why are you often using flowery words, General? Are you the same with all the other women" Keira asked with an arched eyebrow.

Zach chuckled and put his arm on her shoulder as he pulled Keira closer to him.

"Hmm, not really. I'm actually surprised that I'm acting this way. It's not really the usual me. I'm a bit boring most of the time," Zach said still grinning.

Keira bit her lip as she chose not to ask Zach any further questions, like about previous girls or girl in his life. She knew from Zach's profile that there was only one woman. 

Not that it mattered because Keira did not care about it at all. Though somehow, she wanted Zach to tell her about his previous relationship himself. She only knew that Thea had left Zach, but she did not waste any more time and effort to dig to the real story behind it.

However, John had reported that the heartbreaker was already back. She just hoped that she did not have intentions to ruin things between her and Zach nor bring trouble because she would surely show that Thea where was her proper place.

She hated it, having an enemy was a pain in the ass, so she hoped that woman would leave them at peace, especially Zach.

"What are you thinking about?" Zach asked when he noticed that Keira was suddenly silent.

Keira smiled at him as she shook her head and said, "Nothing much. It's just that you are buying too much raw food. You know I can't cook. Do you want me to play some at my kitchen?"

Zach laughed and said, "Yeah, let's play at your kitchen. I will teach my star how to properly cook easy dishes."

Keira chuckled, seeing how Zach winked at her. Oh, how she hoped they stayed like this forever, but she knew that it would be impossible because there's no such thing as perfect. Nobody was perfect, so it's inevitable that it would not always be as happy as this.

Keira watched Zach who arranged all her groceries while he explained how it should be done properly.

Keira pouted her lips. She felt like a child and Zach was her teacher, teaching her basic things.

It's too basic…

"Hey, stop! What do you think of me, of course, I know how to segregate and organize that in the refrigerator," Keira said with a protest that made Zach directly look at her with an arched eyebrow.

"Are you sure? But why do I feel like you will just throw it all, including the bags, inside the refrigerator as long as everything fits?!" stated Zach with affirmation.

Keira pursed her lips as she stood up and said, "Shoo, move away! I'll do it!"

Zach chuckled. Keira looked so cute and adorable in his eyes whenever she's annoyed like that.

He obliged and sat on the chair as he observed how she was doing everything.

He was trying hard to suppress his laughter, but then it burst out when he looked at how Keira held the fish in her hand while she was washing it under the running water.

She held it like it was something disgusting, she even put a pair of gloves on in the end.

"What?!" Keira hissed.

"Well, you have to clean everything well, especially the meat before you put it inside the freezer. And you have to hold that fish properly, not like that." Zach said before he stood up behind Keira's back. 

"It's already dead. It won't bite you." Zach whispered beside Keira's ear that made Keira flinch. Zach moved his hands along her sides as if hugging her and held her hands together with the fish.

"But it's slimy and fishy," Keira mumbled.

"Yeah, 'cause it's a fish, Keira… It's food, so despite it's stinky, you must hold it properly, like this..." Zach explained as he grinned, entirely enjoying what they were doing at that moment.

Keira, on the other hand, could no longer concentrate because Zach's mere closeness was distracting her as his chin rested on her shoulder and his cheek touched her cheek.

Suddenly, she wanted to do something naughty. She slightly moved her neck to have a better look at his face as she asked, "How about you, General? Do you bite?"

Zach paused in a while and stared at her lips…

 Then he murmured, "You know I do bite, my falling star? I guess I need to demonstrate it again, huh?"

That moment Zach kissed Keira without reservation, as he bit her lower and upper lips simultaneously while sucking at them at the same time.

'Bite me all you want, my General! I don't mind at all!' Keira mused happily.
