He gently picked her up and carried her as he walked toward the elevator.

"Oh, we are already here," Keira murmured with her eyes still closed.

She knew that Zach was carrying her, but she was too tired to walk on her own or even open her eyes. Besides, she felt like she was being lullabied by the warmth of Zach's embrace, so she drowsed to sleep once more.

The elevator opened, and timely, Torin was in the hallway.

"Hey, Bro, what happened?" asked Torin, seeing that Zach was carrying Keira. Zach gestured Torin to stay quiet.

"Take the car keys from my pocket and get my things and food from the car. Bring everything directly to Keira's condo," instructed Zach in his lowest tone.

Torin scratched his head but followed suit. Anyway, he was going down to buy something. 

Inside Keira's room, Zach gently put her down onto her bed.

He stared at her and sighed. The truth was, he actually did not know where he should start his story about Thea.

He was a man of few words, so he would probably tell Keira what was needed.

He heard the doorbell and quickly walked towards the door.

Torin handed him the food bag and his bag. 

"Did you tell her already?" Torin asked, his face full of curiosity.

"Not yet. Go and rest, Torin. Thanks for this…" said Zach and closed the door.

"Geez, what a stingy friend…" complained Torin and walked to his door.

He had bought medicine for Lyra from the drugstore because she was having cramps due to her menstrual period.

"Why am I the lackey tonight?" he whispered before he entered his condo.

Lyra was no longer in the living, so Torin knocked at her room's door.

"Lyra?" Torin called but got no response. He got worried when he called several times, and there's still no response.

He immediately entered the room and found Lyra, crouching on her bed.

Torin quickly got a glass of water from her bedside table and helped Lyra to drink the medicine.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you to a hospital?" Torin asked, with a tone full of worry.

Lyra sighed and said, "I will be fine in an hour."

Then she laid on her bed and winced. Torin covered Lyra with the comforter.

Torin stopped for a while and turned around to look at Lyra, but her eyes were closed, and she already looked peaceful.

'Torin? Not Bro? Did I hear it right?' mused Torin as he went out.

Zach went back into Keira's room to take off her shoes and blazer.

"Hmm, my General, are you going to sleep here?" Keira murmured as she sat up.

"Sorry, did I wake you up? I thought it will be uncomfortable to sleep with your blaze and shoes on," said Zach.

Keira, who was already fully awake, grinned and said, "Yeah, I prefer sleeping with nothing at all."

She noticed how Zach's face reddened, so she added, "I'm just kidding. Though you can sleep here anytime you want. I'll be your comforter. Come here."

Without warning, she pulled Zach for an embrace.

"Keira, I want to tell you something," Zach suddenly uttered in a serious voice.

Keira gently pushed him back a little to look at his face and asked, "Yes?"

"I have had a girlfriend before you. Her name is Thea. And today I watched her at the news network where you work as a reporter. She's the main anchor for prime time news," said Zach simply as he stared at Keira, waiting for her reaction.

Keira sighed and asked, "Do you still love her? What did you feel when you saw her?"

She bit her lip as she closely looked into Zach's eyes, waiting for his answer.

"No, I don't love her anymore. She is just a part of my past now. What did I feel? Honestly, I felt nothing. I actually think that it isn't worth our time to talk about her. But since you two will be working at the same company, I think that you should know," explained Zach.

Keira was contented with Zach's answer. The glint in his eyes was telling her that there was nothing that she should be worried about.

"Alright, then don't worry. As long as you are looking only at me, we're good. I can handle the rest." 

Then Keira's stomach grumbled...

"Oh, you're starving. Come on... let's eat first," said Zach and pulled Keira to go to the dining area.

During dinner, Keira and Zach talked casually about Thea. Every now and then Keira asked Zach questions, and Zach answered her, giving her the details she wanted to know.

Afterward, they shared a cup of coffee in the living room.

"By the way, I will be busy for some time because of the mission I've told you about. What do you think is a good alias for me to use in the underworld?" Zach suddenly asked.

Keira smiled when she remembered what the codename she had assigned to Zach before was.

"General, you are 'WOLF,'" answered Keira as she told Zach everything.

"Is that for real?" Zach burst out in a fit of laughter. He couldn't believe that Keira had even come up with code names for them.

Then he honestly told Keira that he had disguised himself before to spy her blind date with Ryu Ken.

"What?!" Keira yelled, totally shocked with Zach's confession.

Zach was laughing hard with Keira's grunting who all this time thought that Zach did not mind before whether she went on a blind date or not.

After getting to know about that, Keira was so happy that she pounced on Zach and showered him with kisses as she said, "My General… I want to give you a reward! How about a round for your pet?!"

Zach's jaw dropped with Keira's bluntness, as his face flushed.

Just that instant Keira's hand reached his so-called pet and she gave Zach a wicked smile. As Keira expected, Zach was already hard and bulging.
