Keira understood what he meant very well. She didn't need any further explanation to understand the whole situation. She could already put all the pieces of the puzzle together and understood immediately that it was all connected with Zach's mission. Knowing this, there was no way that she would not give her absolute best to make sure that the plan would succeed.

"Did you say you would sue me?" Jeru chuckled as he looked at her in disdain. 

"Sure, let's have it your way. You'll sue me for confining you here, and I'll sue you for drugging me and having me assaulted under the influence of a sexual stimulant. Let's see who'll be the first one to rot in jail." Jeru answered with a gloomy face as he gritted his teeth. 

He had abducted Chin because he did not have the patience to wait for the long amount of time in which a legal proceeding under the law would have taken. 

She had meant him harm, so a payback was absolutely necessary. And instead of going through the proper law procedures, he would rather be the judge in his own courtroom, and decide on which fitting sentence to pass himself. 

With a hint of cruelty on his stern face, he sat himself in front of Chin and said, "I will keep you here until I find out everything that I want to know... Or maybe I should have Thea accompany you here as well, since she was also involved in this malicious scheme that you had planned against me and Keira?"

"NO! Don't you dare touch Thea. She is innocent. She knew nothing about the plan!" Chin shouted as she trembled with anger. She had been too late when she saw Thea's text messages about cancelling the plan. She had also missed Thea's calls that night.

Jeru gestured one of his men to hand him the report that he had gathered on Chin and Thea.

"I really admire your confidence… I mean do you even have an idea who I am and who Keira is?" said Jeru nonchalantly as he ran his eyes on the tablet where Chin and Thea's information was reported.

"So you are an important member of a big underworld organization. Hmm, this is interesting," Jeru murmured with a smug as he continued to read. Chin was confounded as she muttered, "Just who the hell are you?"

She tried to have Jeru and Keira investigated, only to have found that it had not yielded the results she had hoped for. Their profile information contained very limited details, as though any information on them was heavily protected. Especially Keira's. The only information she had on Jeru was that of him being the CEO of the Liu Group. She heard Jeru clicking his tongue.
