His hair was stood on end from anger.

"Did he really say that?"

Yan Wu Shuang cried waterfalls, "Husband, what I've said is true. As you know, I, Yan Wu Shuang, had a hard life, after following husband into your family, without even taking time to enjoy these blessings, I have unceasingly worked myself day and night to manage the properties of Su Family. All I wanted, was to assist the young master, but I was venomously humiliated instead. Having Young Master treat me like this, what is the point of me living……"

"Ok, ok. Do not rashly talk about death." Su Cheng An waved his hand, his face had grown dark and solemn.

Yan Wu Shuang did not have a nice background; this was something that everyone knew, however, since she was brought in as the Fourth Concubine, the past became just the past, no one in the estate dared to bring it up.

Jade Truth Pavilion was located on Thousand Revolving Alley. It was an authentic antique shop.

During the period when the continent's civilizations were at its most prosperous, some smaller kingdoms had even developed better technology and power than what the current human civilization has established. Although, due to various reasons, these civilizations have been destroyed and buried in the sands of time and history, but they still left behind decent technologies, inheritances, and treasures buried under the surface of the continent.

Due to this, in this world, archaeology did not only have a deep historical importance, it also possessed very practical benefits.

There was once a family clan in Long Sang Country, due to an unexpected discovery of a tomb from an ancient era that obtained a metal smelting technique and became very wealthy.

This is a typical example of why the antique business is flourishing in this world.

With the continuous discovery of ancient objects and the thriving industry, comes the increase of counterfeits flowing in the market.

This led to an increase in demand for experienced appraisers in antique shops.

Jade Truth Pavilion's current head shopkeeper was Tang Zhen, an old servant that followed Tang Hong Rui to join the Su Family when she married, and had been the head shopkeeper for over twenty years. Basically, he was a veteran filled with rich experience. He has a prudent and cautious character, while was also loyal to a fault. Although he had never made any large deals that were noteworthy, but he had also never made any mistakes.

This gave Jade Truth Pavilion a strong reputation within Thousand Revolving Alley, which was also nicknamed, "The Antique Street of Lin Bei City", although still unable to contend with large shops like Thousand Autumn Pavilion, Treasure Appraisal Gallery and some others. Still, it had maintained a consistent and stable development and can be considered a mid-high level brand. Among the properties under Tang Hong Rui, this is the most important one.

In a small hall of Jade Truth Pavilion's third floor.

Su Chen was seated on the left seat of honor while Jian Xin stood below him. Tang Zhen sat on the right seat while the second shopkeeper, Zhang Heng, and the third shopkeeper, Gui Lou Yi, sat below him.

"My father's purpose for sending me here this time, in name, is to assist my mother in managing the Jade Truth Pavilion, but in fact, he meant for me to learn from our three shopkeepers. Therefore, I hope you can feel at ease in my presence, and just continue to do whatever you have been doing before," Su Chen slowly said.

The three shopkeepers all replied together: "As the Young Master instructs."

"I thank you all." Su Chen did not neglect being respectful and returned a polite greeting, "I understand that the three shopkeepers each have responsibilities to attend to, therefore, I would like to suggest an arrangement. The Second Shopkeeper and Third Shopkeeper will manage the shop first while the First Shopkeeper will stay with me and tell me the management methods of the antique business. "This is a good plan." Hearing the proposal, Zhang Heng and Lou Yi bid their departure and went off to manage their work.

Su Chen also dismissed Jian Xin, leaving only him and Tang Zhen in the small hall. At this moment, Su Chen stood up and gave Tang Zhen a bow, "Please aid me Head Shopkeeper."

Actually, Tang Zhen had his suspicions when the blind Su Chen was sent to an antique shop. Although he didn't stay in the Su Estate, but he had heard some rumours regarding what has happened within Su Family; although this Fourth Young Master of his was blind but he had always been the centre of attention within the Su Estate.

In terms of excellence, he was without a doubt, but unfortunately, this caused many people to be jealous.

Su Chen told him a summary of the matter regarding the plot targeting his mother's properties.

Hearing that Su Chen scolded Yan Wu Shaung as a whore from Spring Moon Pavilion caused Tang Zhen to be stunned, wide-eyed. He now understood why Su Cheng An had assigned Su Chen here. Speaking rudely, disrespecting one's elder, humiliating the aunt, these were not small offences!

"Before I came here, mother told me to follow Head Shopkeeper's words. Head Shopkeeper has been working for the Tang Family for over twenty years, working hard; a cautious and conscientious person, and someone that I can absolutely trust. Therefore, I was told to seek aid from you."

"Aiya, this old man does not have other abilities. All I can do is appraise things such as antiques, precious treasures, ancient items etc., even if you did not tell me, did not greet me, in fact, even if you weren't here, I would do my job properly. What more can I do to be of help to you?"

"You can teach me." Su Chen replied.

Tang Zhen paused for a moment: "What did you say? You want to learn how to appraise?"
