Han Qilu leaves, perturbed . Liu Dongyu remembers seeing An Chuxia in the ward with Han Qilu . But he recalls hearing his father call An Chuxia xiaonainai .  So, are they married? If he’s going by age, they aren’t old enough to be married . So does that mean they’re a couple?

But as he looks at the situation, they’re definitely not lovers .

“Father, what’s his relationship with the girl I met in the hospital? They seemed strange… . ” Liu Dongyu looks at the steward .

“Child, don’t worry about messy affairs . These are matters we can’t meddle in . ” Steward Han heads to the trunk of the car and retrieves a bag and puts it in Dongyu’s hands . “Go back to the room and take a shower . Make sure you have all the things you need for school tomorrow . Try not to bother anyone, okay?”

Liu Dongyu wants to scream from within, but he doesn’t talk back to the butler . He takes his huge bag and returns to his father’s room . He didn’t mean to intervene . He just wants to learn more about it . He didn’t want his father to have such a grave expression, but his response made him seem like he’s a programmed robot .

The house help lives on the east side of the villa . Compared to apartments, these accommodations are significantly better . Being his first time here, he doesn’t know where his father lives . However, the staff is willing to help him out .

“It’s Dongyu, right?” A maid walks out of a room and looks at him . “You’re all grown up! When you first arrived in A City, it was me and your dad who picked you up . I’m Xu ayi, do you remember?”

He stares at her doubtfully, but hs politely greets her back . “Thank you, Xu ayi . Please take care of me . ”

He may be considered a gangster and a tyrant in his former school, to the point that he was called Dongyu ge . But in front of his elders, he presents himself as a gentleman . Especially in front of steward Han . He has to make sure he has manners .

“Lovely!” Xu ayi smiles happily . “Do you know where your room is? We’ve emptied out the room next to your dad’s . Come with me . ”

The corridor is made of wood, which gives the place a homey feel . No matter what, he won’t be living alone in such a big place

Han Qilu walks down the hallway alone, but the servant opens the door for him . When he heads to his room, he passes by An Chuxia’s room . He stops walking when he sees the doorknob to her room .

He’s sure she had help with the dishes he likes the most . What’s the best way to express gratitude?

Opening her door should be a simple matter, but he can’t seem to turn the knob . The thought of opening the door is taking too much effort .

He doesn’t know how long he stood there, but it seems like a while . As soon as he gets the courage to turn the knob, it turns, and An Chuxia emerges .

“Just got up?” An Chuxia asks as she opens the door . She’s devoid of emotion .

“Well… yes . ” he nods, not knowing what to say . His heart is pounding like he’s running a race .  Why does he feel like this?

“Then, good night . I’m heading down for a glass of water . ” She turns just enough to get around him .

“Hey, wait!” Han Qilu takes a few steps toward her . “I… just had dinner . ”

“Hmmm?” An Chuxia remembers Jiang Yuan setting the table for him . She guesses they talked .

Seeing her odd reaction, Han Qilu thinks she misunderstood him . “My mom said to taste the dinner you made . It just so happens I didn’t eat much dinner . ”

“Okay… . ” An Chuxia nods . She knows he ate the dinner she made, but his statement doesn’t move her . A meal doesn’t have any meaning if you can’t eat together .

“The meal was very good, especially the shrimp!” He gives her a thumbs up .

Since finding out she has seafood allergies, she recalls him telling her to take an antihistamine before eating seafood . Apparently, he doesn’t recall that part… .

Well, he can’t recall anything about her, so this is par for the course .

She raises her eyes wearily . “The head chef made the shrimp dish . If there’s nothing else, I’m going downstairs . ”

Han Qilu unlocks his phone, but remembers he doesn’t have the attending physician’s number . However, he remembers the hospital . He writes a letter addressed to the facility and requests for his attending physician .

He rummages for paper and takes it to the table in the balcony . He writes a long letter in English . He may not have good grades in the language, but he knows proficiency in the language is quite useful .

This is knowledge he’s learned from his father . When he missed classes because he had to accompany his father for business, he made up for his classes so he can speak and write fluently in English .

His letter asks his physician how he can get his memories back quickly .

At the Nangong villa, Daihu hurries to Zifei’s room and knocks on it rapidly . “Boss, I just heard!!!”

Mage, who’s in the next room, was securing a belt around her waist when she hears Daihu call out . She tenses, and drops the belt on the bed . She quickly walks to the door to hear what he has to say .

“They’re going to Stein tomorrow!” He sees Zifei in the balcony, so he walks in with a smile . “It seems like she has recovered from her concussion . After watching the video, it shows Han Qilu pushing her to the ground . That’s how she got concussed . ”

“You said Han Qilu?” Nangong Zifei’s hands grip the steel balls in his hands . It seems that Han Qilu’s amnesia is not a rumor . He doesn’t remember An Chuxia .
