The maid notices An Chuxia standing by the chair . She assumes Chuxia is waiting for her to have her seat pulled . But even after the maid pulls the chair, Chuxia doesn’t move .

Her stomach doesn’t feel as stuffed now . She packs up her guilty conscience and sits in front of the computer .

She sits for more than three hours . The temperature lowers after the rain . The sun is no longer as hot as in the noon . A sprinkle of gold reflects on the window as the sun sets the cloud on fire .

Someone peeps through An Chuxia’s open door . Chuxia looks over to the driver who respectfully states, “Miss, you mentioned wanting to go to the supermarket . I’m wondering if you’re ready to leave . ”

“Okay . Thank you . ” An Chuxia nods to the driver before he turns to leave .

Her back is slightly sore . She stretches as she looks at the clock on the lower right corner of her screen . It’s almost four o’clock . As she thinks about going to the supermarket, she decides to change to a simple pair of shorts before exiting the room with her phone .

She goes to Han Qilu’s room before going downstairs . The door to his room is open . She knocks, but there’s no response .

“Han Qilu, are you in?” An Chuxia calls out before giving up .

As soon as she reaches the main floor, she finds Han Qilu sitting on the sofa watching TV . Once he hears a sound, he gets up and looks at An Chuxia . “Ready to leave?”

He has been waiting for a while .

“Ah, yes . ” An Chuxia returns his gaze .

“I thought you were sleeping . The driver told me you were writing . Did he bother you?” He walks toward her .

“I wrote for the most part . “An Chuxia responds before remembering . “Weren’t you supposed to meet Mankuai this afternoon?”
