Ning Zhi, too, had heard that the Lu’s had reunited with their younger son.

Scheming and plotting are the norm within upper-class familiars. The Lu’s younger son reuniting with his family after all these years no doubt put him in a bad position.

Sipping her fruit juice, Ning Zhi couldn't help but gave the man in red a few extra looks.

Returning from the restroom, Ning Zhi planned to take off when someone bumped into her right when she reached the hall.

The two almost fell.

It was Lu Jue, the Lu’s younger son.

He was stumbling as he bumped into her, his handsome face reddened. He was obviously drunk.

Ning Zhi wanted to push him away when Lu Jue looked up. His beautiful cherry-blossom eyes were moist and bright.

Meeting his eyes, it was then when Ning Zhi noticed that he had very pretty eyes. His cherry-blossom eyes were glistening and too overly clean.

Lu Jue’s eyes lit up and his thin lips curved upward. His voice was low and deep. “Zhizhi.”

“You know me?” Ning Zhi was a bit surprised.

He looked at her, shook his head, and the smile on him disappeared. He looked like a disappointed puppy. “Not Zhizhi.”

The next second, he looked back over at Ning Zhi again. Meeting her eyes, he nodded once again. “Is Zhizhi.”

Lu Jue’s eyes were filled with blankness. She was Zhizhi but she also wasn’t Zhizhi.

Ning Zhi was just about to push Lu Jue away when she was suddenly stunned.

Lu Jue’s fingertips landed on face and he traced her brows and nose with his warm fingers.

His eyes lit up and he nuzzled her neck like a puppy, sniffing her scent. “Is Zhizhi.”

Ning Zhi’s heart pounded and she quickly pushed him away. “You are drunk.”

Lu Jue’s clear and handsome face was red from the alcohol and he was looking at her blankly with his pitch-black eyes. His long and slender fingers carefully grabbing onto the edge of her dress. “I found Zhizhi.”

“I don’t know you.” Ning Zhi smacked away his hand.

SMACK. Her hand landed on top of his.

As though he could feel any pain, he looked at Ning Zhi pitifully with his moist, black eyes.

Zhizhi did not know him.

There were many people inside the lobby. Lu Jue’s entire collar was stained by wine and his fringes over his forehead slightly messy. His handsome face red and his moist and lit eyes looked intensely at Ning Zhi. He held onto her clothes. “Zhizhi, I know you.”

She was seared into his mind.

He thought about her every day.

Ning Zhi smacked his hand away again. “I don’t know you.”

Lu Jue looked at her, aggrieved.

Lu Zhiyuan came over at this moment and happened to see Lu Jue blocking Ning Zhi’s way.

“I am sorry, Miss Ning. My bother is autistic. I hope he didn’t disturb you,” said Lu Zhiyuan.

Ning Zhi shook her head. “I’m fine.”

“Lu Jue’s drunk. Why don’t you two take him to the car first. We don’t want him here embarrassing me,” said Lu Zhiyuan to the two bodyguards.

The bodyguards walked up, flanked Lu Jue, and was about to take him away.

“No leave. Want Zhizhi.” Lu Jue struggled free.

“Take him away now!” barked Lu Zhiyuan.

The bodyguards did not hesitate anymore and was going to subdue him with force. Lu Jue brought one of the bodyguards to the ground and quickly walked over to Ning Zhi. “I want Zhizhi. No leave.”

It took him forever to find Zhizhi. He is not going anywhere.

“How useless are you? You can’t even subdue a drunk person?” Lu Zhiyuan apologized to Ning Zhi. “My apologies, Miss Ning.”

By now, the bodyguards had gained control of Lu Jue. “Please, Young Master Lu Jue. Don’t make it more difficult for us.” Having said they, they dragged him out.

Lu Jue was unable to struggle free. Stubbornness filled his eyes as he looked at Zhizhi that was getting farther and farther away from him.

Ning Zhi’s friend walked over and let out a sigh of relief when she saw that Lu Jue was taken away. “This Second Young Master Lu is hilarious. He must not know that you hate nothing more than people who are so stubborn, not to mention pretending to be foolish.”

Ning Zhi said nothing.

There was an unpleasant feeling in her that she could not explain.
