“I am not going anywhere just yet. Go and change out of your wet clothes first.” Ning Zhi comforted the young man.

Lu Jue blinked, and under Mother Lu's surprised look, he picked up the clothes that had been prepared for him and walked inside of the bathroom.

Mother Lu let out a sigh and said to Father Lu, “I had just told you that our son refused to change, and he went to get changed. Do you think he's afraid of you?”

Father Lu wasn't sure what to make of that. After reflecting on it quickly, however, he didn't agree with his wife's conclusion. He was very certain because his son did not pay him any attention since he had gotten upstairs.
