Magic Art Training

The Training Grounds, Temple of Priests Compound.
 
Vivian was still wearing the same attire she wore when she went out hunting for Bukaroo Tails but was now wearing her Brown Cloak. 
 
Marie, on the other hand, already removed her full set of armor and was wearing normal clothing and her White Cloak.
 
Marie led Vivian to a large building. Although it was only one story high, it was quite wide that one could assume there must be a very wide space inside.
 
Upon entering, there was a skinny and bald white-bearded old man in his 70s wearing a Gold cloak sitting behind a counter.
 
Marie went over to him.
 
"Greetings, Brother Samuel," Marie said and bowed quite respectfully.
 
It was too much that even Vivian couldn't help but notice the odd behavior from Marie that she had to make a double take on Samuel.
 
No matter how Vivian looks at him, in her eyes he was nothing but a skinny and bald white-bearded old man in his 70s with a slouching posture due to old age.
 
This is my first time seeing a Gold Cloak…
 
Is this old man powerful...?
 
Samuel nodded.
 
"Greetings, sisters. Are the both of you here to train?"
 
"Not me, brother,” Marie said and turned to Vivian. “I'm here to introduce a new member, Sister Vivian, who wants to train here."
 
"Greetings, Brother Samuel," Vivian said and bowed.
 
"Greetings, sister, and welcome to the Temple of Priests.”
 
“Thank you, brother.”
 
“In case you're not yet aware of the rules here, allow me to tell you.
 
“Each person gets a private room. You can do whatever you want inside there as long as you don't destroy the room -- except for the floors but don't damage it too much. If you cause too much destruction, you'll have to pay a huge fine and will be banned from using any of the rooms for days or weeks, depending on the destruction you've caused. 
 
“Do you have any questions?”
Vivian shook her head.
 
“No, brother. And I understand the rules."
 
Samuel nodded before taking out a key underneath the counter and placed it on top of the counter.
 
The key had the number 16 engraved on it.
 
"This is the key to your Magic Training Room. There is no time limit on how long you plan to train inside the room. Just be sure to return the key here once you're done."
 
"Thank you, Brother Samuel," Vivian said and then took the key.
 
Vivian turned to Marie.
 
"Sister…"
 
"I'll be going now to write the mock exam for tomorrow. Don't overdo it, okay?"
 
"Yes. Thank you, sister."
 
Marie turned around and left, while Vivian headed to the Number 16 Training Room.

A wooden door opened and Vivian entered the room.
 
She closed the door behind her and swept her gaze around.
The room was very small, just enough to fit 2 double-size beds. The whole room was made out of cement and wasn't even painted, and there were a couple of tiny holes on the floor. There also wasn't anything inside the room except for a symbol of a vertically stretched-out sun plastered on the wall and a small window on top of it which served as a source of light so the room was a bit dark.
 
 
I don't know if this looks like a prison cell or a meditation room…
 
ARRRGGGHHH!!!" someone suddenly groaned in pain.
 
The groan came from outside of the room so the sound was muffled.
 
What was that…?
 
Was that my imagination…?
 
She waited.
 
But after a minute or so, she didn't hear it.
 
Whatever…
 
She sat down on the floor.

Back when she was doing the quest with Marie, she was able to level up the Main and Body Art of her [Sword Mastery] twice.
 
As for her [Fire] and [Wind Mastery], her original plan was to finish the quest right away so that she could get rid of Marie and then spend the remaining time training alone.
 
She closed the Status Panel.
 
Based on what Marie told me, this is how they train…
 
She removed the glove on her left hand and then aimed her left hand with her right hand before activating a spell.
 
[Fire Arrow].
 
Woooh!
 
Psss.
 
A 15-inch-long arrow made out of flames came bursting out of her right hand and shot through her left hand, leaving a hole and burning the blood and flesh before hitting the floor.
 
"Arrggghhh!" Vivian gritted her teeth in pain and she quickly activated another spell on her right hand.
 
[Heal].
 
A faint yellow light enveloped her body and the wound on her left hand was healed.
 
"Ha… Ha… Ha…" she panted and wiped the sweat on her forehead.
 
"Fucking hell…!"
 
"That fucking hurt…!"
 
She opened her Status Panel to check her remaining mana points.
 
"14/54…"
 
"Fucking 14 over 54…!"
 
I really need more INT…!
[Magic Art Mastery] Level 1 gives +3 Intelligence points…
 
I need to get the Magic Art Mastery of [Fire] and [Wind Mastery]…
 
Once I get the one from the Fire, I'll the wind next…
 
Vivian closed her eyes and meditated.
 
Doing this doesn't actually help her mana to recover master. This was just her way to prepare herself for the next self-inflicted pain.
 
I really need to get that Class Magic [Halo] skill…
 
I also wish that I had headphones…
 
As someone who was an aspiring fitness influencer back in her previous world, of course, she trained with wireless headphones. It was one of the gadgets that she spent a lot of money on.

An unknown amount of time later…
 
Inside a dimly lit room, Vivian was on her knees and bending forward while holding her left wrist with her right hand.
 
"HEHEHEHEH~~…"
 
"COME~~…"
 
"JUST A LITTLE MORE~~…"
 
Vivian's hair was a mess, her body was covered in sweat, she stank of sweat, her eyes wide and bloodshot, and she had a huge grin on her face.
 
She doesn't remember how long it has been since she was inside the room.
 
She didn't care.
 
She doesn't remember how long since she had eaten. Even her water pouch was completely empty.
 
She still didn't care.
 
She doesn't remember how long since she talked to anyone.
 
She still couldn't care.
 
There was only one thing she cared about right now.
 
"FINALLY…!!!"
 
"40 MANA POINTS…!!!"
 
She activated a spell.
 
[Wind Arrow].
 
Woooh!
 
A 15-inch-long arrow made out of a green aura came bursting out of her right hand and shot through her left hand. It left a hole on her hand and dug a few centimeters deep on the floor before finally disappearing.
 
Blood came pouring out of Vivian's wound and she activated another spell.
 
[Heal].
 
A faint yellow light enveloped her body and her wound was healed.
 
Ding!
 
'Unlocked [Light Mastery] - Level 4!'
 
Knock.
 
Knock.
 
"Sister Vivian?" a male voice called out from outside the door.
