Lei Jianyu nodded his head to signal that he was fine but it was clear he wasn't in a good state.

But Tang Yan's attention was shifted, he noticed Sun Yang in his lane looking completely down trodden, he looked like he was about to shed tears at any moment but Zhang Lin quickly went over and comforted him.

Only two swimmers could qualify for the World Championships so although his time had reached the A grade standard but because he was third, it meant he hadn't qualified.

This was undoubtedly a big blow for him.

Tang Yan dove under the lane barriers and swam over, he  patted Sun Yang on the shoulders and tried to comfort him.

As the other swimmers also completed the race one after another, they all quickly climbed out of the pool.

After they took office, the audience gave them a warm cheer.

Especially the female audience in the front row, who were madly shouting Tang Yan's name.

Tang Yan smiled and waved to the audience, from an ordinary guy to all this. He felt like a movie star.

He reached for the swimming cap on top of his head and prepared to throw it into the audience.

Seeing his move, the fans in the front row screamed in excitement.

Tang Yan put up a pose, looked in the direction of the stands, and reached out and threw the swimming cap.

However, at the last moment the swimming cap got hooked on his hand and the cap that was meant for the audience took a 180-degree turn and flew directly into the pool.

The situation happened too suddenly but fortunately Sun Yang was right beside him and reacted fast catching him before he fell.

Tang Yan also looked back at this time and immediately rushed over.

Having been a security guard in his previous life, he responded quickly to the emergency. He felt for his breath when he reached out and he immediately knew that it was cardiac arrest.

He quickly began to perform CPR on Lei Jianyu.

 Zhang Lin reacted and rushed to call the medical staff.

Sun Yang was dazed for a second but looking up at Tang Yan, there was a determined glint in his eyes as he said: "Your right, I just have to win the 200 meters."

"Woah, okay there let's tone it down a tad, second will do right hahaha" Tang Yan said with a teasing smile.

The 200m race became the stage for Tang Yan and Sun Yang and the final results were within expectations. Tang Yan and Sun Yang were awarded first and second, making the A grade standard, and they both qualified for the World Championships.

After the 200m race, Tang Yan was knackered and prepared to head back to rest.

He had a lot to review. His kick frequency was higher than the average person but he still wasn't used to it. It seemed that it was necessary to strengthen this aspect in training.

"Tang Yan, Sun Yang, both of you wait for me in the meeting room." But when he and Sun Yang were about to head out, Shen Qing called them back.

Swimming was a racing-type sport. The effects of stimulants were particularly obvious, so testing was quite strict.

This was also why there were strict controls on what foods they could eat because as athletes they consumed a wide variety of supplements such as protein powders/bars, isotonic sports drinks, creatine, recovery drinks and multivitamins as they helped increase their ability to train and also improved performance. 

With these supplements came the risk of accidentally testing positive for doping due to the intake of supplements, which had either poor labeling or were contaminated with banned substances.

And whether accidental or on purpose, the majority of the time it would result in a ban.

"There is evidence that Lei Jianyu was actively doping." Shen Qing added.

As soon as this sentence was added, the atmosphere in the locker room became more and more dignified.

It was no wonder that all the head coaches had been called, taking the initiative and accidentally consuming it were two completely different concepts.
