"Shiwen!" Tang Yan called with a stern tone.

Ye Shiwen glanced up and burst into tears.

"I still won anyway" Ye Shiwen said in a somewhat disregarding tone.

"You!" Tang Yan didn't know what to say to her.

Ye Shiwen saw Tang Yan's disapproving gaze and unconsciously bowed her head.

Tang Yan went to continue reprimanding her but remembered that whilst Ye Shiwen entered the swimming team early, she was still only a 14-year-old girl, an athlete who had barely touched the outside world. 

 He was reborn but Ye Shiwen wasn't.

His attitude softened and he reached out and patted Ye Shiwen's head.

Ye Shiwen looked up and her eyes were full of grievances.

Tang Yan reached out and wiped her tears and said: 

"Okay, maybe I'm being too harsh but one thing you must remember, there are no redos. This trial is very important for you, you have to promise me not to treat it like a game. Otherwise, I will never talk to you again."

"I..." Ye Shiwen nodded hard and said, "I won't, I'll treat it seriously!"

When he heard Ye Shiwen agree, Tang Yan reached out and ruffled her hair and said, "Okay, let's go get some cake."

"Cake?" Ye Shiwe's face lit up in glee.

"Brother Tang's the best!"
